Trump Asks China to Open an Investigation of the Bidens
Just moments ago, Trump brazenly asked China to open an investigation of the Bidens for supposed corruption. That’s right, he’s just opened another front in the impeachment inquiry that started last week caused by his call to Ukranian president Zelensky as him to did dirt on the Bidens. The corruption is breathtaking, and it’s clear that Trump truly believes that he can violate any law and smear any person with impunity simply because he is president. This is beyond Nixon. Even though Nixon also believed that by definition US presidents can’t commit crimes he clearly had some modicum of shame and when the reality of an actual removal vote being taken, he resigned. Trump has no shame and has convinced himself that he is truly above the law and can essentially do anything he wants to cheat his way into another term. If he’s willing to do that, who’s to say that he would actually leave office if defeated, or even at the end of a second term?
We’re now beyond the tipping point and Trump MUST be removed from office with great haste. That’s going to require invertebrates in the Senate, including our own John Cornyn and Ted Cruz to change their spots from cowards to courageous. And having witnessed both of them will to permanently damage their own legacies to support this criminal, that is by no means a certainty.
Nixon didn’t have Breitbart and Fox News. Some GOP Senators also had a shred of decency and concern for the country as a whole. It’s apparent that many like Lindsey Graham and Ron Johnson do no.
I don’t think Trump will leave office peacefully even if he is impeached or defeated in 2020.

4Ukraine needed that money Congress voted (and Trump held up) to counter Russian aggression. What can he hold over China, more tariffs? Americans, especially farmers, are bearing the brunt of that crazy obsession. Maybe he can ask the African countries he has insulted to dig up dirt on Biden.

6I’ve seen this before.
While watching my nine year old niece she decided I was too old and stupid so she wouldn’t listen to me that day–at all and she would do exactly as she wanted. I ignored her ’cause it wasn’t worth it and she always commits drama. And frankly– I do feel old.
She tried to do the same thing to her mama when she came home, only with more drama and way way louder.
Now, it’s like she’s living in the seventies. Forced to go outside and get fresh air, no computer for two months, having to play with her baby brother, only allowed one hour of PBS.
Let’s face it, Trump is like a nine year old only with the nuclear codes and more criminal intent.

I wouldn’t hold my breath for Cornyn or Cruz to do the right thing. Just saw a tv clip of Cornyn being asked about the impeachment proceedings, and he basically said, “I don’t understand why we’re going down that road.” Nothing to see here, move along.
9Something just occurred to me. I read somewhere that we’re days away from restarting trade negotiations with China.

Then he’ll claim this request about Biden was a negotiating ploy to get the Chinese to try and curry favor with him, so he would extend an olive branch to them, and they’d give us better terms.

What trump is doing now is not anything remotely Presidential but he has only done that a few times when his staff had him by the nads and made sure ge ws strictly scripted, /what you are seeing now is called “spiraling”. Its shrink talk for crazy.
