This Week in Magazine Covers
Probably seeing that the end is near, Trump is stepping up his efforts to destroy the US government and its stature around the world. Just this week he’s nonsensically declared he has absolute power to pardon himself, sent his attack dog, Rudy Giuliani to raise the volume on Stormy Daniels and other women suing Trump, has continued tearing immigrant families apart at the border, refused to enforce provisions in the Affordable Care Act, allowed his EPA director to wreak havoc, allowed his education secretary to exclude guns from the nationwide study of school violence, and poked all of our allies in the eye. The G6 just announced they are moving on without the US.
Pictures are worth a thousand words, and this picture of this week’s Time and The Economist magazine covers pretty much sums up the chaos that is the Trump regime.
So the G6 are moving on without him. And when he arrives, will he be allowed a seat? Thats when I will believe the resolve of the G6.

2Who’s the fairest of them all?”
I’m far less interested in the resolve of the G6 than I am in the resolve of the American people to have no king. A resolve that must get them to the polls on time.
Unfortunately, the dismantling of the ACA will kill many before election day, including friends of mine, and probably yours. One is in the hospital now, a man who has served this country for years in the military and then in one of the three letter agencies–pushed into early retirement before eligible for Medicare, pre-existing condition that’s held up any chance of getting insurance including ACA, and…the agency just “happened” to bollix up his last pay. Couldn’t afford his necessary meds; tried to tough it out without asking friends for help; lack of them has resulted in needing emergency surgery and hospitalizations. This is his third; he had surgery yesterday; he’s not going to make it to November.
Of course the G-D d……d Republicans will say “Oh, well, he was costing us too much, and now he’s useless, worthless…why should we have to pay for his problems…” Several more, hardworking people, self-employed, in fields that don’t make enough to buy solo insurance, with chronic illnesses, where medication is essential to their ability to work–and stay alive–also unlikely to make it to November. And the b…….ds are counting on that. Boy, if we cut off their meds and their ability to see a doctor for over six months, they’ll die and not vote.
The G6’s resolve or lack thereof won’t affect these people, their needs, their life or death situation. And there are thousands of people like this, tens of thousands all over the country, likely to die between now and November. It’s the resolve of the GOP to “let them die” or deliberately push them over the cliff that is operating now. It’s the resolve of the surviving Dems NOT to king Trump that will honor their memory if the GOP can’t throw enough people in jail and kill off the rest.
And if we do win, we need the resolve to do it all again, the right things, again, and again. NO EFFING COMPROMISES WITH THE DEVILS of cruelty and meanness and greed disguised as “practicality” and “good business” and “sound fiscal policy”, because THIS is where THAT gets you. Where children are kidnapped by the government and trafficked to the corrupt “foster parent” and private prison industry. Where good and faithful servants who have worked to support our national interests are tossed out to die. Where people working to support themselves–talented, intelligent, hard-working–are denied health care because it would cost too much to keep them alive and they’re deemed useless…where Nazis are called “good people” and protesters are all “terrorists.” I’m done, totally and forever done, with making excuses for the GOP. Every single person still claiming to be GOP owns this entire mess. Trump’s base owns this entire mess. They’re murderers by proxy. They’re thieves, even if they don’t profit themselves. They’re traitors to our Constitution. And everything they’ve done must be undone.
But first…muster the votes. Remember the names, when they die, and pin them to the right “wanted” poster. Juan Coronilla-Guerrero, deported to Mexico and killed. Guadalupe Olivas Valencia, deported to Mexico and immediately committed suicide. Laura S., deported to Mexico and killed by her violent ex- (subject in New Yorker article on deportation and subsequent death.) Nelson Avila-Lopez deported to Honduras, arrested without charges filed, died in a prison fire. Constantino Morales, deported to Mexico and shot by drug cartel. Every one of those was killed by the GOP’s determination to deport brown people. Murder by proxy.
3May God NOT have mercy on their blackened hearts and souls for their sins of murder, kidnapping, greed, gluttony, dishonesty, cruelty and hate. Rethuglicans have done to their fellow man what they have always wanted to do. Dump was their facilitator, but they drove this travesty.
4That Time cover should tell everyone everywhere everything they need to know about what Spanky Drumpf is.
5All those who live within distance of a news-stand or have really good TV and newspapers and radio will be able to see this. All those who live in the back of the great beyond need to have jumbo jets flying over dropping copies of this issue if they are ever to see it.

Who will be next?
It’s beginning to look like a repeat of 1930’s Germany here in the US. But the GOP will won’t kill us in camps. That might call attention to their evil intent. They will do it in politically correct ways by making laws – to deny health care, food, shelter, a a livable income for all, decent, free public education, and with a court system that is only just for the rich.
7Make sure everyone who’ll vote for the Democrat is registered to VOTE. If your friends/family/acquaintances need help with that, help them. Maybe they need your high speed internet to track down documents. Maybe rides to and from the DMV. Maybe rides to and from the polling place. Whatever it takes.
8For extra fun, some German legislators want our ambassador to Germany withdrawn just because he supports neo-Nazi movements all over Europe. It’s like these people studied history or something.
