This morning, Trump’s apologist trainer guide dog writ twit lawyer Ty Cobb issued the following statement.
In response to media speculation and related questions being posed to the Administration, the White House yet again confirms that the President is not considering or discussing the firing of the Special Counsel, Robert Mueller.
Oh, I dunno if “speculation” is the right word. I mean, spending the weekend trashing the guy on Twitter might be an indication that Trump is priming for a fight he can’t win.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad Trump has an interpreter. I just wish his interpreter spoke Trumpese.
Dump’s explicators should get their stories straight. Just the day before, his other mouthpiece, John Dowd, called for Mueller to shut down the investigation (or else?), which sounds like the precursor of a threat to me.

He should go one step further, “If you’re President, act like it.”
