This Makes me Unreasonably Happy
As I have said before, Curt Schilling, one of the the top ten most hated men in sports, has announced that with Donald Trump’s blessing, he is going to run against Elizabeth Warren in two years.
And he held a rally in Boston to kick things off. Tens of people came. (Now, it’s not often you will see me link to Sport’s Illustrated, but even they are gloating.)
Awwww, poor Curt. Hell, even the people who came wouldn’t get close to Curt.
Yeah, I’m smug.
Mrs. B., you, Jane and I couldn’t possibly be happier than Senator Warren. Should weird Curt emerge from the snacilbupeR primary as their candidate, Senator Warren will be free to run the table easily, while filling her duties in the Senate, running her Senate campaign with ease and jetting around all 57 states and territories to assist other Democratic candidates.
1Note to self: MLB heroics do not a political career make. Who knew?
2Question about Curt’s business background: how the blazes could he lose a boatload of money? Would I ten trust him with the financial health of the U.S. of A? Hell I wouldn’t trust him with a pot roast!

6As a politician, Schilling is a pretty good has-been ballplayer. We’re all still grateful for the Series win, but he should have stopped while he was ahead. I can’t WAIT to see Liz Warren mop the floor with him.
