If he had even a scintilla of introspection, that apology would be reasonable. However, because he has nothing but his overweening ego, this isn’t even a remote possiblity.

  3. I had an attorney representing my company that had a habit of writing in the margin “NFW” in contracts he was reviewing. To designate something we would never ever agree to.

The NEJM article might as well have that written on each and every line.

It will take more than an apology to right the wreck of the USS Covidiot* 45.

There was a farmer had a dog,
    And Bingo was his name-o.
    B-I-N-G-O!
    B-I-N-G-O!
    B-I-N-G-O!
    And Bingo was his name-o!

That would be the tune, and the sum would be RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.) All of it. Shake every last grifter in Covidiot* 45’s orbit for their very last dime.

Great piece. I hope someone gives it to the orange emperor and gets him to read it. Maybe Queen Melania as part of her anti bullying campaign (bullshit campaign) can do it.
I was just watching a CNN report showing Trump tearing into 2 reporters who asked him about an inspector general report from his own administration outlining hospital shortages (list from HHS calling 323 hospitals). Of course his response – it’s all false news and came from an Obama appointee with political motivation. Guess what, the inspector general with 20 years of experience was appointed last year by his own administration. November cannot come soon enough. January cannot come soon enough.

    A classic work of fiction!

  8. Sandridge says:

Dr. Sax has written a classic, scathing, and accurate satire, it outlines the timeline of Dr. tRump’s regime’s incompetence and malice; with dozens of factual supporting source links.

I suspect that Dr. Sax may be acting here as a surrogate for Dr. Fauci, as they both specialize in the same field of “Infectious Disease”, and are colleagues.

Y’all might want to sign up for some of the NEJM newsletters, they’re available in many specialties; mostly very technical though, written for MDs, nurses, and other healthcare pros.
