Remember, this is the best food stamp president in history. So more Americans today get food stamps than before. And we now give it away as cash — you don’t get food stamps. You get a credit card, and the credit card can be used for anything. We have people who take their food stamp money and use it to go to Hawaii.

And you can’t spend it at Tiffany’s either.

Texas used to give actual stamps, but they got sold on the street for money.  So, in came the credit card thing.  Less fraud = good idea.  But items in the grocery store are clearly marked with what you can buy and can’t buy.

Now.  Let’s get to the real point.  Newt Gingrich took money to lobby, and he’s calling the kettle black?

Yep, pants on fire.  But then again, from his love life, it’s probably nothing new.
