The Crawfishing Begins
At long last, TFG is on his 3” lifted heels, is already demanding changes to the next debate and has even suggested he be reimbursed because Biden stepped aside for a dynamic and unflappable candidate almost 20 years younger than him. Whine, whine, whine. After hurling personal insults at Biden about his age and mental acuity for almost a decade, suddenly TFG has become the dribbling octogenarian who can’t successfully assemble a simple sentence in English, doesn’t know where he is, can’t tell the difference between Pelosi and Haley, and has to wear Dependz for THAT unmentionable problem. I’m very much opposed to ageism and discrimination against older adults; however, in this particular case, there is a sweet poetic justice that TFG is now the “oldest candidate for president in US history” and has the same insults he hurled at Biden now being heaped on him.
TFG, along with Yale Hillbilly, doesn’t know weather to fish or cut bait, and are still talking about Biden because character assassination was their only campaign strategy. They’re just trying to change the name of the target from Biden to Harris. It’s also clear that TFG doesn’t want to debate Kamala and he’s already moving the goalposts, demanding that the broadcast network be changed from ABC to…wait for it…Fox Noise (because it has a smaller and friendlier audience). What’s really rich is that he’s complaining about having to change his campaign strategy and wants the Dems to reimburse him for the trouble. Talk on MSNBC earlier today was that Kamala should quadruple down and propose 5 debates, one specifically about Roe v Wade. I agree.
Kamala has hit the ground running, which was the nightmare scenario for TFG. I find all that to be most entertaining.
In a debate, Harris will roast Trump till he’s well done. I’m sure she’d do the same with Vance. I agree, Kamala should quadruple down with five debates. Trump will look like the gibbering, addle brained, old geezer that he is.
1Trump will fake illness and have his good friend Hannibal Lecter sub in for him.
2Landslide Harris is going to kick Komrade Donnei’s fat pasty ass into the middle of last year*.
He knows it in his rattling bones, and he’s soiling himself like a five month old baby.
* Harris will need to hose off her ass-kicking boots after that swift kick on Bonespurs crappy tush.
And if Kamala were to pick General Mark Milley as her VP, the two of them will be invincible. Both DJT and JDV will get booted into oblivion.
3Maybe now the media will start covering TFFG in the same way they did Joe- show clips of him as “the gibbering, addle brained old geezer that he is” as Papa said. I see the narrative switched to highlighting the Harris support from Democrats, doners and our allies, which is good, but trumpf is still getting a free pass as in the last many months (years). She’s making news but now needs step up with the playbook of showing the real FFG in all his demented ways and talk. Oh, and also include how dangerous he is to our constitutional democracy. There’s so much ammunition to use.
4I read the reason Trump gave for getting a refund was – – wait for it – – fraud. That’s funny.
The Republicans seem in disarray today. There’s a TwitterX thread of Boebert and Greene, etc posting about Harris’ intelligence. When you can only get the dumbest women in your party to to question another woman’s smarts, you know they’re in trouble.
5This latest Lincoln Project video ad is the best political one that I’ve ever seen. It hits every button, mercilessly hammering Komrade Donnei from every crooked angle.

6Imagine the multi media big screen show that the DNC can put on at the convention compared to the repugnantican convention. Call it unity.
7GOPerverts are now having tantrums galore .
8What Sandridge said!! General Miley would carry the center.
9NO to a military man as veep!
10Totally agree with Linda@10.
11I’m in touch with a lot of university students (it’s hard to avoid with my job). Two things:
1. Polling is near worthless. I’ve asked around to see if any student knows anyone who has ever been polled. So there’s the 100 or so students I know, times the dozens that they know. Only two have ever been polled, and both were asked about what laundry cleaning products they used. I’ve also talked to sociologists and political scientists and they admit that polling is nearly worthless now; the real info comes from data mining. While pollsters do try to correct for sampling effects, I believe they are in a modern equivalent of phone polls showing the Dewey would win in 1948.
2. The students, especially the women, are riled up in a way that I have not seen since 2008. Suddenly this race is not “what’s your favorite dinosaur?”, but has become an item of keen interest and even enthusiasm.
So when I read how “polls show Trump ahead of Harris by 1.7 points”, what they say to me is “Harris will tromp Trump in the popular vote”.
12Jace @9, Exactly, Gen. Milley has the most comprehensive set of quals of all the potential VP candidates, and would appeal to the broadest range of voters.
He would pull in the swing voters, probably even getting many disaffected Republicans to cross over [at least at the top of the ticket]. And certainly have great appeal to average Dems once they became familiar with him.
The numbers of these non-traditional Democratic voters would overwhelm the few oddballs who seem to have a problem with a military man.
That ex-military status [and of the highest status] is actually an extremely valuable positive factor for the vast majority of potential voters that we’re trying to swing over for a Democratic victory.
Of course Sen. Mark Kelly, also ex-mil and more, has great appeal too, but would leave a difficult opening to patch over in the critical Senate.
13Linda@10. Would you oppose a Duckworth V. P. slot for the same reasons. My jr. Senator from Illinois that I think walks on water.
