The Celebratory Side of Mass Murder

May 10, 2013 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Because I have been so distracted with local politics, I haven’t had time to write about stuff that makes me crazy.

This has been mentioned in some comments and I can’t let it fade away without saying SUMBITCH.

Texas Congressvulture Steve Stockman is giving away a gun on his webiste, but not just any gun.  No siree, in honor of the kids and teachers killed in Newtown, Stockman is giving away a coveted Bushmaster AR15.

.

Hell, there’s far too many “libruls” sad about Newtown.  Let’s change this bummer event into a celebration of the Second Bygawd Amendment.   Let’s keep mass killings where they belong – in the hands of crazy people!

Thanks to everybody for the heads up.

Be social and share!

Talk about SHAMELESS. Right up there with those folks in Arizona giving away buy-back guns because guns are so expensive for poor folks.

  2. I registered to win.
My first name: “You are a horrible person, Stockman.”
My last name: “You revel in the blood of babies.”
    My email: roastinhell@yahoo.com

Go ahead, everyone, have some fun.

Gee, why do you suppose that gun is #1 on the list gun control advocates hate, Stockman (a boast on the site)? Could it be because it is inextricably bound in decent people’s memories as an instrument used to SLAUGHTER tiny children en masse!?

    He is a monster.

OMG, Stockman is sick. Is he in a gerrymandered district? There has to be a Democrat strong enough or even a moderate Independent or Republican (do any those still exist in Texas – or anywhere else for that matter)).

Surely there is someone sane and decent who could boot this buffoon out of office. What a disgrace to his district, his state, his country and well, quite frankly, to the human race. No shred of empathy or ounce of intelligence in his body.

  4. ks sunflower says:

Marge, I many be mistaken, but I think AZ Gov. Jan Brewer signed a law into effect this month prohibiting cities and towns from destroying buy-back guns. She is requiring that they be sold (cheaply) instead of being taken off the streets. What a dangerous, silly goose she is.

  5. ks sunflower says:

oops – I am often mistaken, but I meant I may be mistaken, not many mistaken.

  6. All joshing aside, imo, there should be a nationwide investigation into Bushmaster rifles. That weapon winds up in wayyyyy too many crime scenes.

I first noticed the Bushmaster In 2000 when I read about a killing down 35 in Kyle, wherein a 72yoa anti-tax nutcase named Melvin Edison Hale killed DPS Trooper Randall Vetter with a Bushmaster. Apparently Hale had gotten a no seat belt citation some time before so he killed the next officer that stopped him.

I cant recite the next few, but I’m recollecting a half dozen or 10 incidents involving a 223 Bushmaster. Too many.

  7. Do you have to give him any money or do something that indicates you support him to register for the give-a-way? (I’m not going on that man’s website if I can avoid it.) I mean, if a bunch of us registered and one of us won it, we could hold a big bash and destroy the damn thing. Which would upset a lot of people, especially him.

  9. Seems like he could offer something more to the winner than just a gun. Movie theater tickets? Visitor pass to a local elementary school?
Even the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz had more brains than Steve Stockman:
Dorothy: How can you talk if you haven’t got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don’t know… But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking… don’t they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you’re right.

Just wondering why his web site says these guns are almost impossible to get in stores. Did he get his through one of those loophole transactions?
Not registered? Black market? Stolen perchance?

    12
  12. That is beyond sick, and I hope Stockman lives to regret it, but I think you need to have a heart in order to regret something.

    13
  13. ks sunflower, his district, #36, is one of the least gerrymandered ones in the state. It’s a big block in the southeast with Jefferson County (Beaumont) cut out of it to be in a different district. http://www.texasalmanac.com/topics/elections/elections

Now take a look at what they did to the Hispanics in the Rio Grande Valley. It looks like a rainbow along the coast, reaching toward Anglo country, diluting the votes. Some of those districts. are part of the five they’ve split Austin into. How is a Representative supposed to fairly represent his/her district when they’ve got agricultural and urban, manufacturing and suburban, folks of races, all educational extremes, all income extremes?

Sorry. That triggered one of my favorite rant topics. I’ll go cool off now.

And is it legal to give away a gun online like that? Please say no. Please, Bubba, let’s string him up by his toenails and turn his gun into paperclips.

    14
  14. OMG! Yes, register and if you win it, guess where and in whom you should stick it! That’s about all he’s good for!

  15. RepubAnon says:

I checked the web site the other day – all it asks for is a name and e-mail address. (My guess is that only NRA members and folks on Stockman’s donor list will actually have a chance of winning – but it’d be fun to win, and then have an event with Nancy Pelosi and Dianne Feinstein in which the gun was destroyed…)

    16
  16. Well, I registered, and if I win it, I will accept the thing.

New Mexico doesn’t have a jackass law like AZ, and if they pass one between now and July 4, I have a bandsaw that will turn it into recyclables in short order.

I urge you to enter, too. If one of those damned liberals wins and then trashes the thing, it puts ol’ Steve into an interesting situation, doesn’t it? More gossip fodder for the salon!

    17
  17. P.S. If you win and don’t have a bandsaw available, drop me a note. I’m always glad to piss off a Teabagger.

    18
  18. And then there’s this guy who also believes that guns are toys: http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/05/10/theater-uses-fake-gunmen-for-iron-man-3-publicity-stunt/

    19
  19. Register, and if you win, send it to César Lopez in Colombia, who has a use for the dang thing:

  20. The fear mongers here held a Second Amendment rally in the parking lot of a sporting goods store that sells a ton of ammo and guns. A total of about 15 loonies waving their “Come and Take It” flags with a symbol of an AR-15 on them.

    21
  21. Oh man! Time for me to say it, again–You cannot make this s**t up!! And, even if one did, it would be as unbelievable as this!!

    22
  22. Richard, that is the best video I’ve seen in ages. This guy has such a great heart.

Back to Congressjerk Stockman, I happen to build guitars myself. Instead of sending him a box with the pieces, I’ll just send him a photo of me playing his AR-15 in my church band.

    Thanks for the great idea!
