Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
No hate here. James Earl Carter has left the building age 100. One of the few good former presdidents. RIP.
1100% agree that the hate we are facing is ugly. Unfortunately it exists. Jimmy Carter was the exact opposite of the hateful person this country elected again. May he RIP.
2100% agree hate is ugly. Unfortunately, we are facing it with who the country just elected to be president again. Jimmy Carter was the exact opposite of the hate leader taking office soon. RIP Jimmy Carter.
3Jimmy Carter was mocked for his honesty in his time, now he is revered.
4Yes, we’re facing a horror show, but we can rise up and be resolute. Show your fierce humanity and calm defiance in whatever way you can, every damn day.
My daughter and her partner made these stickers – their daily courage, generosity and humor give me heart, and a little hope for the future.
This is a nice bumpersticker but with that tagline I can imagine
5Trump’s ugly face, or Musk, Miller, Bannon and so many more.
Yes, we all lost a good man today. Honor him by volunteering.
Jimmy Carter: “As candidate, as President, I will not tell a lie.”
Donald Trump: “As candidate, as President, I will not tell the truth.”
6Thank you to everyone who has kept the Salon open for in Miss JJ’s absence!
7Jimmy was the embodiment of JFK’s “Ask not wat your country can do for you, ask what you an do for your country.”
8I am truly saddened by Jimmy’s passing. He was a lovely man – in public and in person – for a century. The world will miss him more than most people will know.
