Barr / Willie 2016?

Take a deep breath and think about a Green Party ticket with Roseanne Barr and Willie Nelson.

Okay, now you just HAVE to get a Twitter account.

Thanks to Deb for the heads-up.

All the Green Party will accomplish is to take votes away from the Democrats. Roseanne should give up whatever she is smoking and switch to Willie’s weed. And I will remain iltwitterate!

  2. No… I’m not a “Twit”…. I won’t “tweet” or whatever

Willie told Roseanne to take a hike.

  4. BTW… I have had, for a lot of years, an account on The Huffington Post. Have more “friends” there than on FaceBook. Course on Facebook…. I can choose my friends.

Today….. I found out my Huffington Post account has been “closed”…. whatever that means….. I know it’s not because I made some “critical” remarks about Arianna. However will I survive???

Sorry! More twits working to “improve” the website–or big brother can’t handle it if FB gets anymore “improvement” I might quit…of course I spend a lotta time reposting what I see here!!-LOL!
I’ll always read and appreciate your comments here!

  6. Miemaw, I’ve noticed lately that Huffington Post is hardly worth the effort anymore. Since the AOL! “merger” it’s become more and more talking points and see-through dresses and less and less news.

Miemaw… that happened to me last year after I made a statement mildly supportive of the lawsuit against her from previous writers there. I personally didn’t want to sue her, I knew I was writing for free. But I did want to know why all the paid Off The Bus editors were unceremoniously dumped.

Within MINUTES my account, jungpatawan, which I’d had since three months after the site launched, was GONE. My columns are all still there, but my blogger login was also disabled. So was my moderator account (yes, I was a HuffPoMod!)

I felt a physical loss at being severed from a community which had been such a part of me, and which I had served pretty well, myself. At one point, Arianna even sent me her book, autographed, for some heavy-duty mod work I had done cleaning up a backlog.

I couldn’t even get anyone to return my calls or emails.

It took me a couple of days to grieve and to find a way back on under another identity. Anything tied to my email or facebook ID was rejected, so I ended up creating another Yahoo ID for the new alias.

Since then, I’ve racked up more “friends” in 13 months than I had gotten in those years beforehand. I miss writing there, but I console myself that it’s their loss, not mine.

I do feel your pain… but there’s always reincarnation.
