That Whole WWW Thing
Rabid homophobe Idaho Republican State Rep Paul Shepherd forgot to renew his website name. Major mistake.
A college student bought it and … well, had some fun. PaulShepherdUSA.com
In response to the website takeover, Shepherd is quoted as telling Idaho Public TV’s Melissa Davlin, “Slave owners were very good Christians and good people. …[Slave owners] weren’t terrible rotten horrible people, and that’s how I see gay people.”
Meanwhile, Hailey told Vice he’d eventually return to the site to Shepherd if the congressman made a donation to an LGBT advocacy group.
Some days are good days.
Thanks to MB for the heads up.
People who compare apples to oranges aren’t terrible rotten horrible people. They’re just mentally disoriented.
That’s how I see it.
1He looks good in the rainbow….
2LOL!
3One of the best protests I’ve heard about was done in a German (I think) town where a bunch of neo-Nazis wanted to march. They couldn’t stop the march, but a lot of townspeople and others pledged a certain amount to an anti-hate-group fund for every yard the Nazis marched, so the farther the creeps marched, the more money was raised against them. There were even signs along the route informing them of this, which seemed to confuse them, but they kept marching and thereby raising the donations….
Similar things have been done in opposition to those “God hates fags” idiots and also anti-abortion harassers.
4Dear Miss Juanita,
He looks like he’s a close (men’s room) friend of Larry Craig. Aren’t they neighbors?
Regards,
5Craig (no relation)
Nice! I’m in love with Karma.
6Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bigot.
7Whoa Nelly! Boy, how it all comes back around to bite ya in the butt! And that statement about slave owners! I heard that before, eons ago in school. Somebody was trying to tell me that treating the slaves well mitigated somehow the very existence of the condition! Magic mushrooms, people, magic mushrooms!
