:'( … Oh, how I hate to see you go!!

  3. We are entering a new kind of unknown territory, the age of Orange. If we are lucky, we might be able to see the kind of scandleless and classy people in the Whitehouse again. Just not tomorrow…

All the Obama women could be known by Malia Obama’s secret service code name, “Radiance.” The entire First Family radiates charm, grace, elegance, dignity and more than we could ever expect again in a First Family. President Obama’s name was “Renegade.” There’s a connection to likeable renegade with the entire Obama family, a certain steel resolve toward accomplishment. When the First Lady said, “when they go low, we go high” she left out the ‘knock them on the head’ part. That’s just part of her graciousness, but pity the fool who doubts her abilities.

Thank you for eight great years, Mr. President and Family.

  5. We have been so lucky to have had your guidance and example.
Please forgive the Americans who were unable to understand just how lucky we were to have you set our economy back on track, try to help our earth recover, regulate Wall Street and save our pensions, reduce nuclear weapons, bring back our troops, raise the reputation of our country abroad and help 20 million people get healthcare. You will forever be America’s First Family. All blessings to you as you make your way through life.

    Best presidential family EVER.

I’m going to miss the Obamas so much it literally hurts.

  7. Style, grace, intelligence, wit, and not a hint of personal scandal. Thank you all for setting such a fine example of a good and loving American family. Now from the sublime to the ludicrous.

  8. I cried many times during this administration–first time when he won, at the inauguration,–tears of joy that we had, perhaps, turned a corner in our civic history.
Then cried at the way the family was scorned and treated, starting with, “You lie!” At the state of the Union address, and devolving into personal attacks. Started eliminating people I had loved from my “friend” spaces…
Again, I cried, when he was reelected. Sadness and lots of anger at the difficult Congress and Senate. The sitting on Mereck Garland as an appointee was the last straw for me.
Now I cry that “intelligence” is leaving the building. Along with grace and class.
“Godspeed” to our beloved 1st family…as more tears fall.

First “First Family” in a while to leave scandal free after 8 years. Think Rump will go 8 days without a scandal?

  10. I will sorely miss the Obama Presidency.

I also miss the Hillary one.

  11. As far as I can tell Trump voters are convinced that Obama will still be President, and Trump was elected for a funny reality TV show called “If Donald Was President”.

It’ll take a few months to sink in. The US has been spoiled by the Obama Administration.

Mr. Obama did a good job, much better than the Republicans wanted him to. He was a wonderful US President. And the First Lady and First Kids were always to be proud of in so many ways.

  12. Trucks and movers are arriving at the White House to clear out all traces of competence, dignity, optimism, progress, wisdom, maturity, compassion, and decency before the new guy moves in.

  13. Please don’t make me cry. They are the most wonderful, decent family, not even mentioning the Bidens (because I really want to move in with them, they are so delightful). And now we get the most unpleasant dysfunctional people EVER. I am really struggling with how to reassure my daughters that all is not lost.

  15. This link goes to a very poignant and honest moving day cartoon by Steve Sack. Some items are being moved in while others are going out. Wait till you see what those items are.
