Thank you, Ryan Zinke, For $1,000

April 11, 2017 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Ryan Zinke, the new Secretary of the Interior, used to be the congressman from Montana.

He was nominated right off the bat by Trump last December, but wasn’t confirmed until March 1st.  So, Zinke gets a campaign contribution to the Zinke Victory Fund from Big Sky Mineral Resources.

Corporate contributions are illegal on the federal level. If you receive an illegal contribution you’re supposed to “disgorge” or surrender it to the U.S. Treasury because it is the proceeds of a crime.

So Zinke wrote us a check for $1,000, which almost will pay for 90 seconds of Melania Trump’s New York security detail.

Hey, Zinke, every little bit helps.

  1. And Donnie thought he was being so, so magnanimous by giving the National Park Service his $78,000 quarterly salary (for battlefield parks because he’s such a chickenhawk). Let’s just gloss over the $1.5 BILLION he wants to cut from their already inadequate budget.

And I can’t imagine why Big Sky Mineral Resources would be giving a $1000 thank-you to the Secretary of the Interior….

  2. I find it amazing, or not, how well the words “disgorgement” and “Trump” combine I would so like to disgorge that man from our White House and my life.

  3. Disgorge? As in upchuck? Who in the world chose that particular word for such circumstances! How about he revealed and then forwarded the amount to the U.S. of A. treasury department. Really! Some people just can’t get the hang of what to say at a cocktail party!

  4. And anybody who wants to disgorge a few bucks to Rob Quist who is running against some imported GOP millionaire for Hinky Zinke’s seat maybe we can turn Montana a bit bluer despite the DCCC staying home.

PS The GOP guy already lost his race for Governor in Nov.
