Ted Damn Cruz
Ted Cruz wore a Come and Take It mask to the Inauguration today of a man Cruz believes stole the election.
It’s true and the Houston Chronicle reported it.
The “Come and Take It” flag has become a symbol of defiance since then. Cruz previously used the “Come and Take It” imagery to push back against those encouraging limited Thanksgiving celebrations during the coronavirus pandemic.
Cruz wore the same mask on Jan. 6 when he voted to object to Arizona and Pennsylvania’s vote counts certifying the election of Biden.
He should have been arrested on the spot.
I just gave cash to ActBlue to help get him voted out.
1The mask should read INSERT HERE ->
2Beyond disgusting. Wish I’d known that when replying to some of his lying tweets this evening. I did point out that his claim to be upholding the law was ridiculous when he’d enabled and incited others to break it.
3With trump gone (whoopee!), Sen. Seditionist regains his title as Tackiest Figure in Politics.
4I realize we’re in the “healing the nation” phase, but is there any reason insurrectionist republicans were allowed within 50 miles of the inauguration?
If ever there was a time for a “Big D only” event, this was it.
5I don’t believe, for a second, that Cruz believes Biden stole the election. Or that the governors and election officials stole it for him.
He knows full well that the election was the most secure in decades — maybe ever. What he DOES believe is that this conspiracy theory is his ticket to the White House 4 years from now.
And he’s not alone. All the people who incited and helped the people who invaded the Capitol believe it will help them politically. They MUST be impeached, tried, removed from office, then civilly tried and incarcerated before they manage to acquire followers — or we ain’t seen nuthin’ yet.
6This cute, very perceptive puppy always has exactly the right [hind] leg micturating uptake on DetesTed:

7Cruz should have been arrested Jan 7, his cellphone and computer searched. Ditto Hawley. Both have had weeks now to dump their cellphones in some river, pay off those who know best where the evidence is hidden in their offices.
There is no “union” with such traitors, still spouting lies.
8Someone needs to tell him The bell rang and all the children need to leave the playground, the adults have arrived. My question is,if in fact Lady Justice does her thing and gets him out for Sedition, what God Awful fool would “Hey Yabottt!!!” appoint to replace him? Could definitely be a “Fryin pan to fire” moment.
9Give some people an olive branch and they will use it as a club to beat you with.
10Sandridge @7, the picture of detesTed always pleases!
Champ and Major Biden as your first official duty: “Fetch! Go and take it.”
11Some people, if they didn’t have bad taste, they wouldn’t have no taste at all.
I think we need to start a grassroots campaign for expelling and/or indicting the congressmen who are suspected of sedition.
I am doubtful the gummint will have the stomach for it, but without pressure I know it won’t.
Biden is showing some toughness. He fired the general counsel of the NLRB on his first day and, guess what, Trump’s boy at NSA, Mile Ellis, is not coming to work today.
12And right on cue, Rafael comes through again as the stupidest
man on twitter and maybe the most ignorant Senator ever !!

13Oh, it gets better:
By rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, President Biden indicates he’s more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh. This agreement will do little to affect the climate and will harm the livelihoods of Americans.

Does he really think the “Paris Climate Agreement” is about the *city* of Paris or is he just banking on his followers being that stupid? I’m not sure, but maybe he should fly to Paris, TX and investigate the matter. B^)
14I thought Cruz was supposed to be SMART. For weeks now, he hasn’t risen above the STUPID level in his words and actions.
And when I say STUPID, I’m talking Dan Patrick-level STUPID.
Hope it continues, and mercifully shortens his political career.
15Papa mentioned Act Blue. The MieidasTouch group has a drive to put up on a huge billboard on a street facing the Senate building with “Insurrection is a Crime” next to Ted’s photo (as well as “Sedition is a Crime” next to Hawley’s photo.)
Help Crowdfund This Billboard Outside the U.S. Senate

P.S., Also online is a petition to “Expel Ted Cruz,” currently with over 79,000 signatures.

16Oh. I understand now. He is referring to his gun.
17I had thought that after the orange shitgibbon talked all that trash about Carnival Cruz’s faith, father and wife and all Teddy could do was roll belly up and lick the orange nether parts, that the come and take it” mask referred to any shred of self respect and dignity he might have had left after that college bathrobe picture.
I sent the following to my elected representatives. We salonistas pulled it off in Georgia. Time to get back to work:
I do not like to pester my elected representatives, especially not at length; but an extraordinary series of events have transpired, and I think strong action is urgent.
Unfortunately, there will be many reasons for people in position to act to draw back.
All the members of Congress who worked to subvert the 2020 elections need to be sanctioned: censured by the House or Senate, expelled or indicted, as appropriate in each case.
It goes without saying that people who have not been elected to public office should be punished to whatever degree their responsibility convicts them.
The sanctioning of elected representatives is an especially grave step. I have always held that the traditions established in the “Wilkes and liberty” controversies and riots in 18th century England should be the default position. If an electorate wants a person, they should have him.
Even if he is a scoundrel.
But there has to be a limit to rascality. Nothing says representative government needs to commit suicide in the name of representative government.
There should be simultaneous and parallel investigations: by the Department of Justice (and probably in some cases by state attorneys general); by the Privileges and Elections subcommittees of the Senate and the House; and by an independent commission charged with ascertaining the widest understanding of where the attempts at subversion originated.
The prospect of even censuring up to a quarter of the members of Congress, and probably the ex-president as well, should make any American shudder. But just because the crime is immense, the prospect needs to be grasped.
Other democracies — South Korea and Peru are two that come to mind but there are several others — have had the strength to defend themselves. At least in our Fourth of July oratory, we Americans tend to present ourselves as leaders and examples of popular self-government to the world. We should be at least as careful and courageous as the Koreans and Peruvians.
18Cruz should have spontaneously combusted yesterday. I wish we didn’t have to wait four years to get rid of him!
19Wow! What a pitiful LITTLE man! Blind as a bat about his own self. Maybe its the fact that he cannot go back to Canada to escape life here cuz the Canadians still have the border closed while they deal with the virus. Tsk. Tsk.
