It seems like hyperbole, but I’m not so sure. Pelosi blasted McCarthy by labeling him as Kevin McCarthy (Q-CA). So, Pelosi is putting him in the Q party. Simply hilarious. It was clear that it wasn’t a typo since she also said in her statement that McCarthy had ceded power in the GOP to Greene.
Predictably, the outrage machine kicked in full force. How could she treat the minority leader with such disrespect? We need to be moving forward in unity and bipartisanship. Such an insult is beneath the dignity of her office. I’m sure a cursory Google search would find commentary saying all of these things in some combination.
Let’s remember one key thing. In addition to Jewish space lasers, denying school shootings, and vast Q conspiracies, GREENE ACTUALLY THREATENED PELOSI’S LIFE! I don’t normally scream like that, but I feel like somebody needs to do it. If your response to that is to have a private sit down meeting with her and then to do nothing then you have either been neutered as a leader or you tacitly approve of her statements. The time for being nice and polite ended a long time ago.
For me, just stripping her of her committee assignments is over the top in terms of generosity. If I were speaker she would be thrown out of the House and she would be in jail. Vote or no vote I’d have her arrested on the House floor in front of the cameras for all the world to see. I would make it be known that any member not voting for her removal is a traitor against the United States. It is long past time to give these people any due or deference.
The time for playing nice is over. That time passed when the former president launched an insurrection on the Capitol and the GOP caucus excused it. Not only did they excuse it but they are threatening the few GOP members that saw it for what it was. They are eating their own. So if your little feelings are hurt over the minority leader being called A Q I honestly don’t care. Put on your big boy and girl pants and deal with it. You either follow the ex-president and Q or you defend the United States. Get up off your duff and pick a side.

I saw folks whose opinion I normally respect on Twitter labelling Pelosi’s press release as “a big mistake” and my reaction was basically scratching my head and going “Huh?” for a while.
Such a mild yet accurate taunt is beneath the “Queen of Shade”?
I’m just glad that Democrats are finally playing on the same field as the opposition.
2I thought it was interesting the vote to remove Liz Cheney from her leadership position was done by secret ballot. I would bet if that were allowed for the impeachment vote in the senate, Trump would be convicted. None of the GOP senators are exactly profiles in courage and it would allow them some cover.

“Bobbitted” by Queen Q.
And, this just in, for low intelligence (big market here) Q supporters there is a new line of toilets. They are branded with a prominent Q and the tag-line: “Where we go Number One, We go Number Two.” I think this could be a winner.
5McCarthy is a scared boy. The house repugnicans are also scared. Greene will not be removed from congress anymore than trumpf will be convicted in the senate. They will all go down in history for being on the side of the mob of insurrectionists and abducted by the Qult.
6She’s in front of the house right now saying how she doesn’t believe in Q and the “lies” (she didn’t specify) calling them dangerous. Well, she didn’t address her encouraging violence against members of congress and once she’s voted out of committees, her true personality will come out. Then McCarthy will be stuck with her. While the cult followers will still support her, a lot of republicans have bailed on the party. My hope is the more she rants and repugnicans support Trumpf, etc., the more will flee the party. They likely won’t become democrats, but they will blow up the repugnican party for 2022, 2024. That’s our best hope, and Trumpf will have bigger problems so good luck with his being a big asset for repugnicans.

McCarthy said he spoke with Greene who said she didn’t know anything about a space laser. OK. But isn’t that the problem? Many of the conspiracy theories, threats, and miscellaneous craziness she posts are made with no proof or thought of what actions may be triggered by her words.
There is much that Greene posts without knowledge of the subject matter. She should be held accountable for her publicly proclaimed ignorance.
7I am still hoping that she and others are identified as doing even an iota of help to the insurrectionist and the 14th is applied against them removing them from office.
Especially if they could be immediately removed from office on day before or of the Senate vote on impeachment.
8Does McCarthy have a 2022 opponent yet? So many postcards and stamps sitting here idle…
9It is possible to be a lone member of Congress without much influence. Vito Marcantonio, the socialist from NYC, comes to mind.
However, Marcantonio linked to what was nationwide a tiny portion of the electorate, maybe 2% at most. Greene can tap into a much larger electorate, so I think we are not in any position to gauge what her presence in Congress could mean.
It might not work out as pleasantly as some Democrats expect.
10Someone more clever than I has labeled Marjory’s supporters “GangGreene”. I think she will have the same spreading effect on the Republican party.

12Ever optimistic, I’m hoping MTG is kicked off committees and then, true to her word, spending the freed up time recruiting and then campaigning for her type of Republicans.
13Just went looking. Vote to push MTG off committee assignments was a near party-line 230-199 vote.
