Trump Turns on Kushner
Ooo. Pop some popcorn and chill the beer. Trump is apoplectic and turns on Kushner, Stone tries to get Trump to trump up (no pun intended) a BS federal investigation of the Uranium One deal. Beginning of the end?

Tweeto Jesus and his squawking heads made Hillary’s use of a private email server a central issue in last year’s election. Every single rally included chants of, “Lock her up!” for her email “scandal”. Oh, how times have changed. At least six current and former WH staffers have been caught using private email accounts for official business, and, in fact, Jared Kushner and Ivanka have actually set up their own server, dubbed Javanka, exactly like Hillary and Bill did, with the exception that the Clinton server was actually set up by the Secret Service.
Conservative media and Trump himself immediately reacted to the news of the innappropriate use of these accounts with the following response:
Hypocrisy! Table for one!
If all this were in a mystery novel, no one would believe it; they would think it was too far-fetched. The latest shoe to drop is that, during the campaign last year, US intelligence intercepted communications from Russians who were bragging that they already had Michael Flynn in their pocket and could use him to influence US policy should Trump be elected. ALL of that came true.
The next shoe to drop will be the identity of the current senior advisor to Trump that has been labeled a person of interest. My current guess is that it’s Jared Kushner, but who knows? It could be Ivanka since she was pushing he clothing line in Russia during the campaign.
This slow-motion train wreck threatens to come completely off the rails
If this is true, and I highly suspect it is, Nunes not only needs to resign as committee chairman, he needs to resign as congressman.
As we suspected, the person who leaked the report to Nunes is Michael Ellis, a former staff member of the Intelligence Committee and closely tied to Nunes. But, there’s been another official identified.
[Ezra] Cohen-Watnick is a former Defense Intelligence Agency official who was originally brought to the White House by Michael T. Flynn, the former national security adviser. The officials said that this month, shortly after Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter about being wiretapped on the orders of President Barack Obama, Mr. Cohen-Watnick began reviewing highly classified reports detailing the intercepted communications of foreign officials.
What the fool tarnation is Flynn’s guy, who is often described as his protege, still doing there? And why are we paying our tax money for him to spend time reviewing “highly classified reports” to try to support Trump’s wacko theory? How do we know he’s not also reviewing those documents to support Flynn?
And here’s why I think that.
After H.R. McMaster was chosen as the new National Security Adviser, The Washington Post reported that McMaster told Cohen-Watnick that he would be moved to another job. U.S. officials told the Post that CIA Director Mike Pompeo told McMaster that those in the intelligence community didn’t think the young Cohen-Watnick was “up to the job.”
According to Politico, which first reported on this incident, Cohen-Watnick then went to Steve Bannon and Jared Kushner. Two days after McMaster told him he would get a new job, Cohen-Watnick was back in the same place Flynn put him in.
So the new National Security Advisor wanted to fire him but Kushner and Bannon wanted him back in his old job. He’s 30 years old. What the hell? Does anydamnbody know who is in charge?
I am telling you this one damn thing – this Nunes thing stinks like he’s got a goat under each arm and a pocketful of week old crawfish.
I know everybody is all Honey,-have-you-heard! about Jared Kushner meeting with officials representing a Russian bank while it was under sanctions.
He was simply applying for an ATM card. You know, in case the sanctions were lifted, because he had heard from pillow talk that may happen under a Trump administration.
U.S. officials said that after meeting with Russian Kislyak at Trump Tower last December, a meeting also attended by Flynn, Kushner met later in December with Sergei Gorkov, chairman of Vnesheconombank.
White House spokeswoman Hope Hicks confirmed the meetings, saying nothing of consequence was discussed.
Gorkov was appointed head of VEB in early 2016 by Russian President Vladimir Putin. He graduated from the Federal Security Service, or FSB, Russia’s internal security agency. He was awarded the Medal of the Order of Merit for Services to the Fatherland, according to the bank’s website.
“Nothing of consequence.” Oh sure, we believe that. Just some guys sitting around talking about the Super Bowl.
(As an aside, there is a White House spokeswoman named Hope Hicks? The Hicks part caught my eye and my funny bone this morning. So, I looked her up. She’s a lovely young woman who is one of Ivanka’s models. I am completely serious.)
