Here’s a graphic illustration of Susan Collins doing her thing with the Dems in the Senate impeachment trial. I’ll leave the comments to our readers.
Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
I doubt that there are any Democrats with an IQ above 80 who still fall for anything Collins, Murkowski, Rubio, or Romney ooze out.
1Bogus news about how much difficulty moscow mitch is having keeping his thuglican caucus in line is nothing but kabuki b—s—.
2Except for “surrendering” on a couple of minor points (accepting evidence from House, 3 days instead of 2 for 24 hours of presentations) that were probably included so they could make a show of comprimise he has kept his herd of carniveerous brainless sheep in line.
53-47 on every other vote.
Have to admit I am surprised that the munchkin from wv hasn’t joined his thuglican collegues.
I am pleased to see Doug Jones is standing tall for those who brought him to the dance.
Forgot– Cute ‘toon though, it used to apply, especially with Obama. Doesn’t hardly apply anymore, most have finally wised up.
3Even John McCain came through with a thumbs down on the health care vote. Susan Collins? It’s always another game of Fauxball.
4The D’s should be offering separate amendments for every document. Not a single amendment for all the documents.
5They get two hours to argue amendments use every second and then introduce next amendment for next document i.e. we wish to see the Mulveny e mail from such and such date, then the next amendment is we wish to see email from Mulvaney for such and such date +1 and so on and so on.
Drag this out forever. Make the thuglicans refuse everything put them on record. Ensure this is still going on for the state of the union babble from the blithering idiot.
I am going to be driving up to Maine to help campaign against Sen. Collins. GOPs just do not believe in the Law anymore…
6She’s been playing Dems n indies like a mint 1959 Gibson Les Paul for years. When are “we” going to finally cross her off the list???
7Jeff @7, “When are “we” going to finally cross her off the list???”
Maybe in November, polls show her maybe losing, the ‘Thugs are worried, more Mainers than ever despise her. Mitch Mc’Roo, lobbyists, and the RNC/RSC are shoveling cash into her campaign.
8May I suggest a campaign (or many) to Sara Gideon?

9…campaign contribution, I meant.
10FYI, The Senate is still at it.
I about choked a moment ago. Rethug lawyer Philbin[?] was just ranting about the Dems being mean. He flat out stated that ‘pRes tRump is a [n honest] truthful man’… WHHAAATF?
These mofos are still blithering about process, bs, and personality, hardly ever about facts, truths, reality.
Schiff, Nadler, et al are still going strong. Those guys need medals and/or sainthood [especially for keeping cool and not punching out some ‘Thug. It’s all I can do to not destroy my teevee sometimes.].
Ruh-oh, Justice Roberts just chewed both sides out for ‘not being nice to each other’, heheh.
11What a hoot [more accurate, I missed it], quote:
https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2020/1/21/1913166/-Impeachment-trial-opens-with-debate-of-McConnell-s-cover-up-plan-Live-coverage-10
“Holy cow. Nadler has set both Cipollone and Sekulow on tilt. Both of them end the day flat out shrieking.
Cipollone gets to be the one
12—who declares Donald Trump “a man of his word”—
and demands an apology from Nadler. Sekulow is left shouting about “shredding the Constitution” by being insufficiently differential to executive privilege.”
Note the GOP mindset; this sums it up: “It’s painful to read all these stories that act as though the *content* of this trial matters, or the competence & skill of those involved, or precedent, or truth.
The GOP has the power to let Trump off. So they will. That’s all that matters.” — David Roberts
13Sandridge @ 8:
Mainers despise Collins? No problem. If she loses, assuming Trump manages to squeak through, he’ll just add her to his “cabinet.”
After all, it worked for Pence. Indiana had finally had enough and he was slated to lose his governor’s race in 2016. Of course, he had no idea he was trading in that loss for prison orange once his complicity in Trump’s crimes is proved.
Couldn’t happen to a more deserving chump.
14Unless, of course, we count Donnie, Ivanka, Jared, Li’l Donnie, Billie Barr, etc. etc. etc.
How I wish Moscow Mitch and his wife would get caught for what we know THEY’RE doing. It’s time to follow the money in KY.
Yes please, some one start digging up the dirt on Mitch & wife.
15I’m surprised the Dems’ theme isn’t “What’s Trump hiding?”
It’s a message the public would understand.
16There is no way to understand the Trump voters. They’re rabid loyal to IQ4.5. Foremost they just love “sticking it to the libtards.” However, where Moscow Mitch and other Republicons failed to understand them leading to major House losses in 2018 is that the ***king moron’s moronic base also enjoys sticking it to the “establishment.” Which ironically includes Moscow Mitch and Leningrad Lindsey. Go figure. But by defending the Toddler-in-Thief that the moronic base loves could be the same set of actions that loses the Senate for Republicons in 2020.
It may be too soon to thank Speaker Pelosi, but by allowing Moscow Mitch to think he has won may be her finest act of political coup de grâce to date.
17While you’re looking at which candidates to support with your donations, don’t forget Mark Kelly (McSally). Amy McGrath (McConnell) and Jaime Harrison (Mz. Lindsey). There are so many others, but these are pretty important as well as getting rid of Susan Collins.
18To quote Lucy, who quotes Isaiah 6:1:
“‘Then I said, “Lord, how long?” And He answered: “Until the cities are laid waste and without inhabitant, The houses are without a man, The land is utterly desolate.’ How Long? All your life, Charlie Brown. All your life.”
19Susan Collins is a round heeled woman.
