Sunday Funday
Okay, here’s something I would have bet my favorite lasso that I’d never say: I completely agree with Jennifer Rubin.
Rubin is the conservative columnist for the Washington Post. This morning, she goes after Trump and his supporters with intent to barbeque.
(If you don’t have a Washington Post online subscription, you can probably read it here.)
I was going to pull out some of her best thoughts and put them here to encourage you to read the whole thing, but dammit, read the whole thing.
Also, thanks to Bryan for sending me this:
Perfect! It’s a shame that he won”t read it because it doesn’t have pretty pictures and pie charts, and he doesn’t read anyway
1Jennifer “she’s right” Rubin loses a whole lot of meaning, when the “right” is 18-24 months too late. Sort of like Joe ‘late to the game’ Scarborough. That’s the loveable side of the snacilbupeR.
They need to up their game from belated sanctimonious to posthumous sanctimony. They pull the carpet out from under the expression “better late than never.” Next week they’ll be selling us ‘if only Sandy Koufax had been right handed.’
2I don’t know about that. His ‘followers’ already accept an unnatural shade of orange.
3My memory is a bit fuzzy on this but wasn’t Jennifer Rubin the prime hate-monger behind the media attack on the Islamic community center that was built near the WTC?
4I smiled at this because I had exactly the same thought whilst reading WaPo this morning! I don’t expect it will happen again any time soon.
5Alan, your memory serves you well. Jennifer Rubin is one of the many Zionist and anti-Palestinian ‘voices’ who prohibit peace in the Middle East. For all practical purposes, a white Wahhabi.
6One correction: the leader of the free world is Angela Merkel.
7Read this tweet on Raw Story from a UK professor and thought you might like it.

8But… we all here knew that about him. Right?
9According to former UK Ambassador to the US, Christopher Meyer, Trump makes him want to puke. Always thought the British had a way with words.

10Sandy, “genetically engineered to be stupid” and “puke inducing.” Why are the Brits limiting their observations to Donnie’s better qualities?
11@mikey
12Agreed. “Orange Is the New Black”.
Well Duh!
13What took you sooo f@cking long Rubin ???
Your obviously almost quite as sick as your ilk.
Sheesh it ‘pains’ her to write this about her Lord Conservative Savior, leader of her Cult Family.
14Well it kinda pains us to have to live in relentless torture and misery of a god forsaken hellish nightmare for 4 more years.
Hell, I’ve even agreed with some of Charles Krauthammer’s columns in the Chronicle lately. I never thought I’d do that. Just another sign of the apocalypse, I suppose.
15Yes, the tide at WaPo is clearly turning. I used to read Kathleen Parker until I decided she was so alt-right delusional I couldn’t stand her any more. (I *do* try to know what the other side is saying. Or I did until they all seemed to be b*tsh*t crazy.) But then she caught on, and her stuff now is a lot closer to this. Slowly but slowly…
16slipstream–Exactly.
17Rubin, Parker, Squint and the meat puppet, et al are all now on the anti 45* bandwagon, hypocrites all, for not one of those people has acknowledged their complicity in bringing the batshit crazy aka republican party to it’s present state.
18I’m not J Rubin fan, but she has consistently despised Orange Whore. I follow Tea Pain on Twitter and he’s very good. I spend 60-90 minutes per day in the Twitterverse following people who are good for my mental health. Mostly I retweet with an occasional comment. I rarely write an original tweet. BTW, for reasons I cannot fathom, about a month ago Sean Sphincter began following me. I dunno why.
