  1. Susan on the Left Coast says:

The denizens in the city of Arab, Alabama must live in terror.

  2. If you follow the links in Public Policy Polling’s web site you will eventually find a pdf of this poll’s result. Interestingly 29% of these likely nacilbupeR voters support the internment of American citizens of Japanese descent during WWII. It just doesn’t pay to not be white around these folk. Even if you are a cartoon character.

  3. daChipster says:

Not that bombing Al-Abama is a deal-breaker, for me.

    3
  4. Now ask how many support the text of the First Amendment.

    4
  5. As a San Antonian, I hope they stay away from El Alamo.

    5
  6. Don A in Pennsyltucky says:

Folks down the road are worried that they might start bombing Al-Tuna while there are some nervous New Yorkers in El-Myra.

  7. Meanwhile, overheard on transit yesterday, end of conversation between two construction workers (they’d been talking shop):

“Did you hear that we’re letting 100,000 Syrian refugees in, and none of them are being vetted?”

SMH!!!!!!!! Yes, I wanted to refute but wasn’t in the mood to argue with people who already had their minds made up. Thanks so much, Faux-snooze.

  9. Marcia in CO says:

I just laugh and shake my head at the stupidity!! It is just mind-numbing and boggling! I just don’t know how much more boggling my poor ole brain can take!!

    9
  10. Old Mayfly says:

“Ain’t it awful?” That’s what I call the false news that is so welcome to right-wingers.

“Can you believe it? Isn’t this outrageous?” No, folks, I can’t believe it and it is outrageous.

During the Cold War my low-info fundamentalist Auntie believed that the Communists and the Catholics were in-cahoots.

    10
  11. What do we do about Iraan, Texas?

    11
  12. Marcia, I’d just laugh and shake my head if these people weren’t likely to vote and if there weren’t already a controlling percentage of them in Congress.

A while back, there was a saying: “I used to be disgusted, but now I’m just amused.” Well, I used to be amused but now I’m just disgusted. We don’t have time for these glassbowls anymore.

And if Inhofe tries to throw a snowball in Congress again to demonstrate that global warming is a big fat hoax, I’m going to get the biggest icicle I can find (if I can find any) and give him the business end of it where the sun don’t shine.

    12
  13. Mahomet, Illinois?

    13
  14. @Don A — Don’t forget that the capitol of NY is Al-bany.

    14
  15. Does that 30% apply to the candidates?

    15
  16. JAKvirginia says:

Are you sure it’s not Al-Bundy?

    16
  17. Definitely Algebra.

    17
  18. Linda Phipps says:

Remember the wackaloon woman who berated the local weather reporter for correctly describing the dust cloud approaching Phoenix as a “haboob”?

    18
  19. e platypus onion says:

J Al Dean they could bomb and wouldn’t hurt my feelings.

    19
  20. e platypus onion says:

    20
  21. EPO, and a Syria in Virginia where I ride horses! Dammit, that place had better be on the exempt list. I can’t find western saddle hack lines any closer to where I live!

    21
  22. e platypus onion says:

maggie-we qlso have Abu-Bekr Shrine Circus that comes through iowa every year. iowa has numerous rodeos and stores that sell western saddles and tack. The late, great PRCA Rodeo stock supplier Bob Barnes lived within 20 miles of me(atcf). Barnes outfit staged some rodeos in Atlantic City a couple years ago. A first for AC.

No offense, but with my back I’d prefer to ride in a paint can shaker. 🙂

    22
  23. That’s alPaso, fFolks.

    23
  24. I guess they’ll spare Bethlehem, PA, but with the R-Klan you never know. Carpet bombing being what it is.

    24
  25. And Loveland, Colorado must be a liberal plot.

    25
  26. Ole Scout, I think alPaso has at least three syllables. You know, “alPayso”…or is it four? “AyuhlPayso”. I always fergit.
