Sterilize You, Bozo!

September 16, 2014 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Former Arizona state Senator Russell Pearce has himself some powerful strong feelings about Medicaid.

Screen Shot 2014-09-16 at 4.19.07 PM“You put me in charge of Medicaid,” Pearce told one caller, “the first thing I’d do is get [female recipients] Norplant, birth-control implants, or tubal ligations. Then, we’ll test recipients for drugs and alcohol, and if you want to [reproduce] or use drugs or alcohol, then get a job.”

Would somebody get up beside this old coot and tell him that most folks on Medicaid are the working poor.

And then to add a cherry on top, it comes to be that Russell Pearce has himself an $85,000 a year state job working with low income seniors.  I wonder if he’s going to sterilize them, too.

His statements were so incendiary that the Republican Party of Arizona asked him to resign as Vice Chair of the Arizona Republican Party.  By the way, being a total jerk is a prerequisite for that job so it’s hard to lose it.

Thanks to Elizabeth for the heads up.

I keep hoping if we wait long enough all these bozos will self destruct……

What…no forced sterilization ? He must be getting soft.

  4. If he’s going to sterilize the seniors, somebody who didn’t flunk science should explain that he’d only need to do the men.

Actually I think birth control should be the standard situation for everybody, so you’d have to make a deliberate decision to have a child– no more oops pregnancies– but I wouldn’t confine it to the poor; I’d include this jackwagon too.

  5. Put me in charge of spending the public’s tax dollars–first thing I’d do is have state legislators take a sobriety test before every vote.

  6. As sickening was it was to listen to this demented old **** , it was jarring as hell to realize that state supported sterilization which is what he wanted was still actually a concept. I know that various places in this country did carry on this way some years ago, especially where anyone with any sort of mental impediment was involved and certainly if you were poor and usually dead broke. Yet he (and his ilk which include Nazis) are still extant and totally unrepentant. Ten to one he has one terrific load of resentment at being forced to resign his post, but he bought that problem all on his own. It was almost edifying to see that there were Repunkicans around him who were horrified at his behavior and are repudiating him. The bet is they were doing the right thing for the wrong reason which kind of cancels things out. But honestly, isn’t there something that can be done to dislodge him from the well paid job with seniors? I just don’t trust him to work with them or anyone else. Hell, I wouldn’t trust him to work inanimate objects!

  7. The Arizona GOP asked Russell Pearce to resign? Why? He is the perfect embodiment of their values and mentality.

  8. Thanks for the link, Gramiam. This guy associated with hate groups, which included neo nazis, tried to reenact the “Wetback Bill”, and was charged with spousal abuse which his poor wife ended up denying after the initial charges. Wonder why.
He belongs in jail, not “working” with seniors. He is filled with hate for just about everbody.

  9. Well folks, this gives you an idea how the GOP of Arizona works. Of course you know that Pearce was voted out not just the Senate, but president of it in a special recall election. He and our infamous Sheriff Joe Archangel go back a ways…Pearce was a deputy once.

And I am sure that all this is Obama’s fault in some way or another…including WWII! God have mercy on Arizona. Even the rattlesnakes are leaving the state because they found that these snakes can crawl lower than they can.

    Dear Miss Juanita,

If only men were involved in the production of children, we wouldn’t have to attack women this way.

    Can’t spell crazy without AZ…which is why I’m grateful I left 40 years ago…

    Okay, make up your mind.
    Either your against birth control,
    or your for it……

He was against it before he was for it.

The poor can’t have babies…. The rich have to have theirs.

I can’t figure these guys (white guys) out…..

    Just saying…….

  14. Monty, this guy is the perfect embodiment of their values and mentality, but he forget that he’s not supposed to say it out loud.

Believe it or not, Mr. Pearce plagiarized the entire thing from someone named Alfred W. Evans of Gatesville, TX, who first wrote it as a letter to a newspaper in 2010.
