Somebody Get a Dipstick. This Woman is a Quart Low on Estrogen.

Holy cow, Girl.  Do you have a slip in your differential?

Thursday on Andrea Mitchell Reports, Romney senior adviser Delegate Barbara Comstock (and transvaginal ultra sound supporter) called equal pay a “left wing agenda”, dissed Lilly Ledbetter as being “partisan” and claimed that “real women… appreciate male and female bosses who accommodate their schedules and time.”

You know, if she had said, “people appreciate bosses who accommodate their schedules and times,” I could buy that.  But do you think for one minute that Mitt Romney is that kind of boss?  Hell, no.

Comstock

I am 65 years old and I cannot believe that I am still fighting this crap.  And I blow a gasket when it’s women I have to fight about it.

Can you get a handle on the level of self-loathing that Barbara Comstock totes around with her every damn day?  That woman has be exhausted.

Barbara, grab hold of something stable and ask yourself why men should get paid more than you do simply because they have different plumbing.  Do your ta-tas get in the way of you doing a good job?

Woman – heal thyself of the evil you think women are.

Thanks to Carmen for the heads up.

Be social and share!

  1. Uncle Dave says:

In Comstock’s case one could argue she’s probably overpaid. Come to think of it, why pay her anything? Just keep her barefoot in the winter–will, you know the rest.

  2. “Real” women need real food for their real kids, real shelter, real medical , etc.

Why do this ding-lings think women should just rely on the good will of benevolent men – and if the men are not so benevolent, well, somehow, that’s the woman’s fault because she wasn’t, well, “real” enough.

  3. Bo Leeyeau says:

The reason women shouldn’t make as much money as men doing the same job is because they distract the men because they’re women and they are so hot, you know?

  4. I saw this moron on Andrea’s show today, did not catch her name – like most RePigs, she’s simple-minded….I am DAYUM sick and tired of these subjects like abortion and equal rights coming back to the surface – it is HIGH TIME the younger women get off their phones and get in the streets – we’ve already fought these WARS – I do not recall this much crap during the original Roe v. Wade argument and I was in Austin where Sarah Weddington, Esq. was fighting good ole DA Henry Wade of Big D. Last time I was in an abortion war was with my GRANDMOTHER in Dallas in 1985 – she made me drive her to Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas where a “bunch of men and preachers” were running around telling women they were murderers and Granny was having none of it. Nothing like seeing your grandmother back a minister against the wall yelling at him to leave WOMEN ALONE because they can “damn well do what they please with their bodies” and her most family-famous quote: “If men could get pregnant, abortions would be free”. Oh, in case you were wondering, our family is/was Catholic.

  5. Comstock has an ugly mind and is probably thankful to have a job, but she doesn’t represent women. Things like contraception and family planning (including abortion) are economic issues for women and men.

As some smart woman said, “If men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament.”

  6. Corinne Sabo says:

I agree: WHY is this still an issue? Are men that frail and scared? Not real men, the Romney-types.

  7. So, if women have those magical rays that reduce the menfolk to blubbering idiots (something to do with being hot, I guess), why is it that women are still 2nd class citizens? Do we just like earning less, paying more for healthcare, having our right to vote questioned and having the menfolk tell us what to do with our bodies? It’s a mystery to me.
Still and all, be cheered, if Willard wins through some tomfoolery, it will be all our fault. Because ta-tas – or something.

  8. Left wing agenda, socialist, communist, the magic words that Republicans use to turn brains to sleep mode. Because, sure, they’ll get women to take less money for the same work, if the alternative is a commie plot. But don’t cha worry your purrty little head none how that makes any sense.

  9. Eykis, did I run into you in the Capitol? The place was full of Mormon men telling me I was going to hell for going against the will of G-d. Sometime around 1978 i think. That’s when I discovered that they were going after the pill, too. No young woman, other than my daughters and their friends believed me. They thought I was nuts to think women’s rights were in jeopardy. Many still do.

    9
  10. Something I’ve never understood is how 50.000001% of the people get to control 100% of the money for women’s programs. Isn’t that the tyranny of the majority that was so outrageously wrong when R’s were in the minority?

    10
  11. WhitesCreek, men are a numerical minority. About 103 boys are born to every 100 girls, but the numbers even up in the early teens, I think, and thereafter there are more women. So it’s about 49% or fewer controlling most of the money.

    11
  12. I can’t stand women like her because the haters of all things female point to her and say, “see, we’re right, that woman agrees with us”.

Comstock–that rings a bell. The Comstock laws early in the 20th Century. Will look that up and return to the beauty shop. Somehow I’m thinking “Anthony Comstock.”

here it is, boys and girls:

Turns out that birth control info is dirty, dirty, dirty. In 1915
William Sanger was arrested and in 1918 Margaret Sanger was arrested for distributing that information.

The original Comstock Act was passed in 1873.

  15. The only women I have ever encountered in the Repukican Party who spout such twaddle are themselves very, very well heeled. They are as out of touch with the majority of folks as their candidate. They are the ones who show up in Armani with an bejeweled elephant lapel pin made of real jewels at a local precinct on election day as an observer for their party to make sure the vote is “honest”. They get totally confused when they find out that this is a job on the feet for anywhere from 8 to 12 hours and no one offers to get them a Starbucks or a pair of Dr. Scholls pads for their shoes. The rest of us are dressed and ready for actual work for which we get an average of $75. Nuff said?

    16
  16. I still think that these conservative, religious damaged republicans will if they get into office make a law that married women with children Cannot work.
This would certainly solve the job crisis for them.
And so would witch trials. It would get rid of all those pesky uppity women.

Are you gonna put something on here about the nitwit Joe Walsh and his “scientific” ideas about women not having to have an abortion to save their lives? Gotta love these Repugs.

  18. Crone,

Probably did run into me around 1978 at Capitol. I worked at a law firm at 9th & Congress and spent a lot of time at the Capitol protesting (very liberal lawyers) – yeah, remember the STOP ERA ladies? People forget that Sarah Weddington, Esq. was a young, poor, baby lawyer when she took on Big Bad DA Henry Wade of Big D (Wade was DA in Big D for 40 years) and worked out of her house.

These young women really need to GET OFF THEIR PHONES and pay attention – they have NEVER had to fight for repro rights and us older gals do not have to worry about getting preggers any longer~

  19. White’s Creek,

Sometime I would like to meet you – we are actually close neighbors – I live off Hwy 12 (Ashland City Hwy).
