Somebody Finally Said It
Yesterday, in a remarkable made-for-television moment, Texas representative Joaquin Castro finally said it:
“I wouldn’t be surprised after all of this is said and done that some people end up in jail.”
It came during an interview on CNN about the House investigation into Russia’s meddling in our election and the more than creepy warm and fuzzy relationship between Trumpworld and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
FINALLY, someone in Washington has said what millions of Americans have been thinking.
Have been impressed favorably by the Castro twins. Hence the quote is very affirming.
1A few hours later on MSNBC his statement was confirmed by another member of the House committee investigating the Russian connection. Her name escapes me atm.
I have little doubt Flynn is going to jail. Unregistered Foreign Agent, Tax Evasion, Being Stupid Out of Season are all charges that could arise. It is too early to be discussing immunity for anyone involved, but I suspect there is enough on Flynn to hang him already. The best he can do right now is a plea bargain. Maybe deal for a nicer cell, or a decade or two reduction of sentence.

It’s bad enough that these people are oligarchists at the expense of our national treasury, but worse that they are responsible for years of deaths that can be directly connected to their destruction of our environment.

4One can only hope that the troubling bits and pieces of the Russian collaboration are finally connected with Trumpites and results in charges and prison time. And that includes Trumpelthinskin and SusPense. They are traitorous opportunists who have humiliated and weakened our country. Thanks Republicans.
5I expect Trump to pull a Nixon. Resigning before impeachment and having Pence immediately grant him immunity.
I’m betting that immunity will be spread to Trump’s family members, though I would really like to see some of them prosecuted and if not jailed, then fined heavily. The business intermixing with government is really starting to get my goat. Did I say starting–more like the Chupacabra has already carried off half the herd.
6National Security Advisor/Ambassador Susan Rice gave the media a bombshell yesterday. Unfortunately either it was too hot to handle, or they’re really that dumb. Ms. Rice, really, if you want someone to follow the pattern of clues, find a journalist. No ma’am, mRs. Greenspan is not a journalist.
Anyway, the gift basket of clues was the litany of things of which the snacilbupeR have accused Ms. Rice. What the media misses, while everyone at the WMDBS knows: when the snacilbupeR are accusing, take it to the bank as to what they are doing. They’ve accused her of having kept a spreadsheet of the criminals surrounding Drumpf Tower. Wake up, media, hear their guilty little ‘consciences’ speaking. There’s a confession in all that sound and fury, if you stop to listen.
