So Shocking

December 18, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

You know how when you rob a bank but then agree to give back the money and you are totally innocent like it didn’t happen?

Yeah, well … the same exact thing happened to the Trump Foundation.

… Trump‘s charity, the Donald J. Trump Foundation, has agreed to dissolve amid allegations from the New York Attorney General’s office that it engaged in a “shocking pattern of illegality.”

I think it’s the shocking part that got to him.

New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood announced Tuesday that her office will continue to pursue its lawsuit against the foundation.

Shocking, totally shocking.

  1. I just keep coming back to wondering why nobody investigated in the past. It hasn’t been much of a secret that Cheatolini doesn’t obey the law and feels that people who do are suckers…

    1
  2. To show just how cheap Trump is, he used the foundation to pay the $7 fee for Donald Jr. to enroll in the Boy Scouts when Jr. was eleven.

I feel is shocking that this hadn’t been looked into before.

    3
  4. Maybe someone was paid off not to investigate.

    4
  5. And yet these people think that is enough to get them off the hook.

    5
  6. Lock him up… etc

    6
  7. Why wait?

Civil forfiture on a grand scale!

    7
  8. This is the second promise to dissolve in the face of investigation. I wonder how much money disappeared in the interim?

    8
  9. I think nobody bothered looking into the foundation before because it was so small-time. After all, any of us can set up a foundation and a lot of people do. There are simply too many of them to investigate unless and until they come to public notice.

It’s been said before–and will be said many, many times in the future–the worst thing that has ever happened to the Orange Moron was being elected POTUS.

In the (gag) nearly 3 years since Donnie descended that escalator, the self dealing by he and his crime family is immense. Hard to recall all of it. There was that painting the charity bought that hung at Mara-Bloat-Hole, maybe some golf clubs and even a Boy Scout membership fee for Barron among the previously known grift.

Stay in school Tiffany. Although you have yet to be implicated, it won’t hurt to have your law degree.

Meanwhile the court will oversee the dispensing of the funds. Obviously the judge wasn’t unaware that any money flowing through Drumpf fingers has a tendency to get stuck.

BarbinDC, not taking a lot of comfort here knowing RAT45 is bleeding from all ten toes and tiny digits. Considering the wrecking ball he and his maladministration have taken to our country at home and abroad, gonna need more than a few quarts of blood and a pound of flesh here. What can he offer under RICO? Every last dime works for me.

    11
  12. they’re gonna be burning up some motors on their shredders

    12
  13. Trump got away with this stuff for doling, he got cocky.

    13
  14. Trump bought a signed Tim Tebow football helmet with his charity money two years ago, for $12,000. The story is alive again on Twitter today. By the way, the value of a signed Tebow helmet today? $459. Anybody notice the stock market recently following that Tebow helmet investment trend?

    14
  15. Please, let the remainder of what is left go to charities helping immigrants and asylum seekers.

    15
  16. RICO. Read up on it in Wikipedia. The whole family. When you look at all the evidence, who can credibly deny it’s all a criminal enterprise?

    16
  17. You do get the feeling that anything Trump is going down the crapper, don’t you.

    17
  18. ….adding to tRump’s problems, Letitia James takes over as NY state’s AG in 2019. His worst nightmare – an aggressive black woman.

I like Tim’s idea of transferring that money to help asylum seekers

    18
  19. Trump Foundation may be closed but he still has his campaign fund when he needs ready cash.

    19
  20. maggie, I wouldn’t want anything “trump” going down my crappers.
That nasty trump effluent would wind up in huge septic tanks, where that toxic trump sludge would do great harm to the trillions of ‘good’ bacteria (and other organisms) living peaceably within that oozy stinky, yet wholesome* (compared to the trump crime family), natural environment.
Those delicate critters within spend their lives re-digesting all that ‘stuff’ that flows into the tank, turning it into relatively harmless gunk and water that then flows out to the laterals and drains into the subsoil. And from the subsoil, in my case (and neighbors), filters down through 5-6000 feet of limestone into our co-op’s potable water aquifer. Thinking that the Trumps are toxic enough to poison us all even through a mile of limestone and other strata.

    * Y’all haven’t lived until you’ve dug down to the lid on a septic tank and lifted it off for a pump/cleanout by the septic truck guy … whheeeuuuw. PS: The whole septic system is lots more sensitive than a city sewage system, mistreat it and it will cost you.

  21. montag, It’s far worse, or better, than you might think.
The Trump 2020 ‘Presidential’ Campaign has actually merged with the RNC itself, as the “Trump Victory”. The RNC was previously tasked with electing Rethugs across the country.
Now, with this combination in effect, RAT45 will have his grifty little paws into the huge RNC cookie jar.
This could have some really bad effects on many Rethug politicians, when SOBOTUS skims off as much as he can of their money for his own Prez campaign; and of course, true to form, his own pockets.

  22. this is the shot over the bow… here it comes.

    22
  23. Of course the Trump Foundation was a sham, but the real goldmine will be the Trump Organization. Can’t wait for the IRS to get involved. They brought down Capone, let’s see what they can do when they sink their teeth into Dump’s derrierre.
