Should We Fret

July 28, 2016 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

My friend Deb is seriously worried about Melania Trump.  She’s turned up not up.  Poof!  Gone!

Melania used to have a fancy pants website, touting her beauty and her brains.  It’s gone.  Poof!

It used to look like this —

But now it’s been redirected to go to Trump’s website.

It seems that Melania may not have the college degree she’s been boasting about.

But, here’s the deal – has anybody actually seen Melania?  I mean, is she living in Moscow until this blows over?  What has Trump done with her?

We want to see the tax returns and Melania.

Thanks to Deb for heads up.

Be social and share!

    Seriously?

You’re asking me if I want to know what Drumpf has done with his wife???

    Ewww…

  2. They are in the process of re-doing her website, they just have to decide which website to plagiarize from.

  3. Polite Kool Marxist says:

Probably Melania is in an undisclosed location with the best divorce attorney available in NYC. Ten years, she has served her time. The time needed to make Donnie squeal like the pig he is, when a judge hands Melania half his assets.

I’ve had a brief email exchange with Susan, she knows I’ve supported JJ’s since 2012. I’m not leaving until she tells me to. I walked away from Daily Kos after the Clinton campaign paid him $500K to turn it into a Clinton echo chamber. Not going to do it again.

I’m aware my writing was shoddy, and I know better than to cite something I haven’t vetted yet. I haven’t reached the golden 5-years-cancer-free milestone, and a PA confirmed Monday that there is another lump. So, yes, I was writing from emotion as my coping mechanism is currently on overload.

This country is in dire need of people like me pulling from the left. The IEA now projects a rise of 3.5 deg C by 2035 — the point where Earth can’t sustain life because the ecosystem will fail. The DNC fielding such a flawed and unpopular candidate is foolhardy, no matter what you think of her.

  6. AliceBeth says:

Even though I do not think she understood about her speech, I really do not care.

    6
  7. He has been with her close to the maximum wife time limit, hasn’t he? Maybe he realized if he should get elected president, he’d almost be forced to stay with her at least another four years. Better to jettison her now and start looking for Mrs. Trump #4.

    7
  8. Anyone here read ‘Margaret and Helen’ today, they still have
    it!

    8
  9. Lunargent says:

Can’t they just edit the website to reflect an honorary degree from Trump University, instead? I’m sure Donnie would be willing to deduct the tuition from her allowance.

    9
  10. Lunargent says:

    Nancy in IL –

I’m truly sorry to hear about your recurrence, and wish you the best of luck and a full recovery.

As for your other comments, I’ll pass.

    10
  11. Hell, he’s got Newt to tell him how to jettison at the worst possible time

    11
  12. maryelle says:

I, too, am sorry to hear about your health concerns as my mother had breast cancer and survived until the ripe old age of 95. Blessings and good luck.
Better to have the Democratic party in charge with pressure to make a difference in climate change than the other alternative, people who do not even accept the science, aka, Republicans.

As for Melania’s claims on that website, somebody on that campaign staff finally realized it wasn’t going to float, so they flushed it.

    12
  13. Marcia in CO says:

When Drumpf disappears will we really care? No!! Don’t much care about Melania either … she obviously makes poor choices, so whatever she does … should we really care? Personally, I don’t!!

    13
  14. JAKvirginia says:

Nancy in IL: This is against my better judgement…

    Please. Just. Stop.

    Now… as to other matters.
At this point in your life, your health should be your primary concern. I sincerely hope it improves beyond your expectations.

    14
  15. Chloe Bear says:

Lunargent perfect solution! She can “earn” a PhD and a set of Ginsu knives at no extra charge.

    15
  16. Polite Kool Marxist says:

Nancy in IL my wish for you is that one of the many recent advances in just the past few months will be a success for you and that your treatment this time will be much less that what you endured with your previous treatment. To your success!

Also please think about the PROGRESS is progressive. We are making progress. Maybe not as rapidly as some of us might like, but we are moving forward. Our fight is not with Democrats who may not be as liberal as some might prefer. Our impatience with the status quo must be laid squarely at the feet of the ‘Con Party of Obstruction. Think Dubya and those people who dug this massive hole. Hilz is a comfortable centrist. Most of the country is centrist. But one thing Hilz is not is stupid. If we must grant her a modicum of trust, I would trust her to realize that a fairly steady left course correction is needed to bring about an equilibrium. Let’s wait to hear what she says tonight.

Feel for us here in NV. One of our Senators (Heller) is a snacilbupeR. But that doesn’t stop me from communicating with him. No way will I allow him to hide behind Mitch McConnell.

  17. JAKvirginia says:

Trump’s FemBot is in for repairs and reprogramming. Stay tuned…

    17
  18. I sure hope for Melania’s sake that Trump doesn’t consider his trophy wives to be as disposable as his suppliers and creditors. This is a bit worrying.

    18
  19. Polite Kool Marxist says:

JAKvirginia, you’re on a roll today! Location? At a guess, Vlad’s Olde Seconds Shoppe where Donnie purchases his wives.

In the southern “bless her heart” style, I’d like to thank Kayleigh McEna…. whatever (she doesn’t rate a google trip for the correct spelling) for revealing where Donnie gets his Spoxbots. He receives them at a discount from the Roger Ailes casting couch rejects.

    19
  20. Born in 1970? I’m old enough to be her father and I’m seven years younger than Trump. Ugh.

    20
  21. slipstream says:

Melania is hiding out in Wasilla. She requested political asylum, but Sarah Palin doesn’t know what those big words mean.

    21
  22. JAKvirginia says:

Hey, PKM. Location? Mine? Suburban VA west of DeeCee. Thanks. I’m at the point where I have no more f**ks to give.

Trump’s having machine guns installed in the FemBot’s boobs. He’s getting serious.

    22
  23. JAKvirginia says:

And for those of you who missed it or haven’t gone yet, Margaret and Helen is a definite read today. Thank you, Joan, for the reminder.

From the linked site came my favorite comment of all time:

“Melania Trump is from Slovenia. They’re not sending the best. They’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems. They’re cheaters, they’re liars. They’re plagiarizers and some, I assume, are good people.”

  26. lyntilla says:

Nancy in IL – I wish you positive outcomes.

    26
  27. Old Fart says:

    Heh,

It is bittersweet that I find myself feeling so… trapped by my first POTUS voting experience. I was an Anderson supporter, and we got a Raygun instead. I have always been prepared to settle for the best option since. I voted for Jackson and Sanders in the primary, and firmly supported the most liberal option in the finals. Does that make me a sell out? Maybe.

BUT, living in MA and having some of the most liberal candidates possible, *including* the Repubs (Weld, & Romneycare), spoils the dilution effect. In any case, I’m one of those weird persons that believes that a healthy Democracy needs conservative viewpoints to temper ideas that are difficult to implement. Besides, Barney wasn’t really a super liberal, but what a hoot it was watching him as committee chair and knowing I helped put him their.
Good governance pretty much guarantees that disappointments are going to happen. But there is always hope 😉

    27
  28. Myrnatoo says:

Hmmmm. Missing Melania. Anyone check Slovenia, or how about Germany? After seeing that Melania’s family name is Knauss, I knew that to be a German surname, probably Bavarian, it’s nothing like a Slovene name. Maybe she found a German prince, yes, they have them, and has opted to be a Teutonic princess.

    28
  29. Elizabeth Moon says:

Nancy in IL: Very sorry to hear about your health problems. I wish you miracles in that regard, and a return to perfect health.

We clearly have different approaches to qualification for certain offices, but that’s OK, and in your present situation we don’t need to discuss them.

  30. Aggieland Liz says:

Hi Nancy, prayers, good Karma, and hugs to you in Illinois. Several of my clients have survived various bouts with the
ta-ta taint, doctors know SO MUCH more now!

For the rest, isn’t it great that we live in America the Beauriful where we can have dissent with enthusiasm even within our ranks?! And hopefully still have hugs and beer?? I don’t want to be like those other folks, so I can’t abstain; I must vote to defeat Trump! But by all means let us keep pulling to the left, like the Beyoncé song: “to the left to the left! To the left to the left!”

    30
  31. Margaret and Helen are a wonderful pair.

I agree that a moderate conservative political voice is important. Extremism, however, is a vice, Barry.

    31
  32. e platypus onion says:

Better fret. Drumpf will say he heard on the internet that HRC kidnapped Melania and he won’t pay the ransom. Of course half of America will believe Drumpf.

    32
  33. Nancy in IL says:

Thanks to all for the well wishes, even tho I came in and stunk up the place! (not breast cancer, but what’s the diff at this point?)

    33
  34. Nancy in IL, I am truly sorry to hear of your health issue. my wife is terminally ill with liver disease, so believe me when I tell you I know exactly where you’re coming from. I hope that whatever treatment you get is successful for you, and i’ll have all my fingers, toes and other appendages crossed.

as to the rest, i’ll assume emotions played a great part, and let it go.

    JAKinVA:

“Hey, PKM. Location? Mine? Suburban VA west of DeeCee. ”

sounds like Loudon County or Sterling. I’m in the Burg North of Richmond myself. I remember when NVA used to be a Democratic bastion, but it turned into a loonybin conservative freak show, alas. down here, I just assume the few thousand in my city will go republican, as they have for the past 30 years that we’ve lived here. basically old, white, conservative Christian, and most are never going to change. just have to wait for them to die out.

  38. fierywoman says:

Melania’s last name was invented by her (her real name is close but not Knauss.) The folks over at DU last week during the Trump speech were watching live tv and said that when Herr u. Frau entered the hall, she was 10 feet behind him and “glowering”, and as he spoke they noted she was still glowering.

Any one know where to find a “LOVE TRUMPS HATE” bumper sticker?

    38
  39. TheoLib says:

Huffington Post couldn’t manage to post the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine link for Melania’s site?

The latest copy of her bio dates from 2013: https://web.archive.org/web/20130404071255/http://www.melaniatrump.com/bio/

After that, the bio page is not found in the archive and the home page just comes up blank.

Nancy, think of cancer as a chronic illness and do what the dr. says. At the moment I’m cancer free. I probably need to go back to eating onions and radishes, and exercise. Sigh. Exercise. Well, it’s a thought. Do what you want to within reason.
I cannot be angry at Melania. Regardless of why she married Trump, she did it. Bless her heart.
Now. Find some good novels to read, or better yet, write a good novel. Or take up yoga or drawing/painting. It’s good for your health.
    Hugs, Marge

    40
  41. fierywoman, go to the Hillary Clinton website. I’ve got 2 of them. Or try northernsun.com.

    41
  42. Myrnatoo says:

Debbo, I live a couple of blocks from NorthernSun, but didn’t see it there, and it’s not on their website.

    42
  43. Linda Phipps says:

I hear Trump is suing Hillary Clinton for plagiarizing Melania’s white dress she wore every day by also wearing white.

    43
  44. Nancy in IL, I wish you health and peace.

    44
  45. Tilphousia says:

Nancy in Ill – sorry you’re sick. Had cancer over twenty five years. Just comes back. But I don’t allow my problems to drag me down mentally. Too bad you do. We have two choices in elections in this country, two parties. Hillary will be a good President. She’s been in the trenches for about 40 yrs and done more good than can be listed here. If the climate accord has any chance at all it will be because of her leadership. Too bad you gave up the Daily Kos cause you didn’t like comments. The Kosacks give one a huge range of opinions. Guess you only like your own. That makes for a very lonely narrow life.

    45
  46. Myrnatoo, maybe it’s because I’ve donated to Hillary that I’ve had an opportunity to buy the “Love trumps Hate” stickers. If I didn’t have them both on my car I’d mail them.

    46
  47. fierywoman says:

    mwah! thank you, Debbo !
