Semantics
I need some help with semantics this morning.
That Trump immigration meeting that has been described as a kindergartener with mood swings. It continues to be the craziest damn thing.
Behind the discrepancy: A senior GOP source familiar with the matter told CNN that instead of hearing the President say “shithole,” some Republicans heard Trump say “shithouse.”Two Trump allies came out publicly on Sunday to dispute that Trump decried immigrants coming from “shithole countries” and sought to cast doubt on Durbin’s public account of the meeting.
Okay, so Republicans are calling Durbin a liar because he said shithole when the actual term Trump use was shithouse.
I don’t get it.
What the hell is a shithouse? And how come that term is morally superior to shithole?
Besides, Trump doesn’t believe the people in these counties live in actual houses. He thinks they live in huts so why would he say shithouse instead of shithole?
More importantly, are Tom Cotton and Dick Perdue trying to pretend that there’s a major difference between house and hold when preceded by the word shit?
Perdue called Durbin’s statement a “gross misrepresentation.” Gross? Really? They allow Perdue to talk about gross? Whoa – that’s irony!

A shit whatever still stinks. Traitor trump’s words are a racist slur. But he has been a racist his entire life. That the ass-kissing Republican Party thinks that it’s ok to defame several billion human beings boggles the mind. This is but the tip of the very rotten iceberg that has become the gop. Not one is Christian, although they loudly clang their brass cymbals. None give a tinker’s dam for the people they profess to represent. Pence sat red-faced during a service at a black baptist church. The pastor ripped trump and cronies to shreds. Either word in that context is still nakedly racist.

4Sumpm just occurred to me. Not being on Twitter or Facebook, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone hasn’t already suggested it. But Donnie Douchebag could defuse this whole shithole situation by just being proactive. Moving on. Guiding a grateful nation away from all this ugly bickering by clarifying what he really meant to say and sort of expanding on comments already made in this joint.
What he REALLY meant was that he doesn’t care what race new immigrants are as long as they hold the same political beliefs on universal health care, higher education, birth control, gun control and the fact that all these things are mandated by and paid for by the electorate. You know, like in Normay.

5Recognizing that a brain dead parrot possesses a more extensive vocabulary than Donnie, allow me to substitute *pie* for Donnie’s more offensive word choice. A poetic person might write that the words flew from Donnie’s piehole (mouth). The prosaic approach would be to write that the words ricocheted in Donnie’s piehouse (head) before dropping out of his piehole. The question remains: could it have been more racist if Donnie had chosen Iceland rather than Norway as his counterpoint.

I think coward is a strong word, but then again I did not call her an asshole.

I would like to ask Tom Cotton and Dick Perdue if they remember the names of countries and regions from which Trump did not prefer immigrants? Or the country which he held up as an example as the kind of place from where we should accept immigrants?
If Trump was just naming poor countries, why didn’t he include Romania, or Slovania? Or, despite their poverty, should America accept their white brides, I mean immigrants?
8Having traveled the world some I have learned that there is a difference between s—house and s—hole.
A s—hole is a hole into which one excretes one’s bodily waste products. A s—house is an enclosure that generally is equipped with a s—hole.
The s—hole in a s—house is often covered by a seating apparatus that can make the task of excretion more comfortable.
A s—hole does not have to be enclosed nor does it have to employ a seating apparatus. The s—house therefore, while not necessarily morally superior, is often superior with respect to comfort.
9S-house is what my momma said our playroom looked like when it was time to clean it up. She never said s-hole, though.
10Well, if we are talking semantics, the difference between a sh**house and my outhouse is a Styrofoam toilet seat.
At 20 below a metal, wood or plastic toilet seat verses a 1 or 2 inch thick piece of Styrofoam board is the difference between a comfortable experience or a one ending with frostbite.
11He said “s***hole”, because Lyndsey Graham said it right back to him when the meeting got (sic) contentious. Durbin’s telling truth and Perdue and Cotton are lying, as usual.
12Last night on the Daily Show Trevor Noah took a minute from his bitingly funny piece on President …….. to seriously explain what this is all about @3:20. Something none of the media has looked at and the rest of us will probably ignore.

I’m good with Sarah Chuck-a-load Sandbag cleaning up Donnie’s messy language. In respect to Mama, I was willing to substitute pie for the word Donnie used. We can change the words, but Donnie’s surrogates cannot change his intent
Last week Donnie proclaimed he’d sign anything in his love for DACA. This week he’s ready to shut down our government, kick the Dreamers to the curb, write off an entire continent and send a submarine to Haiti to pull the plug on their island nation. Puerto Rico responds: no surprise. England in concern for their own island with a plug responded: no Donnie.
Meanwhile Lyin’ Ryan and his fellow rethugs are comfortable with all that, and ready to bury Granddad and Grandma to toss more than 60% of our GDP to weapons producers for profit.
The pie Donnie spews pales in comparison to what his maladministration is doing to destroy every government agency, while republicans in Congress line up to fatten their personal bank account. We know what ‘retiring’ Bob Corker received. Meanwhile Jeff Flake speaks tough, yet votes for every item in Donnie’s agenda. What was his piece of silver?
Had Donnie used a milder word such as shinola, fact remains he’s a racist and totally contrary to anything good for a democratic society.
