  1. @e platypus onion, Sooner or later you’ll be in a store that has PL milks, try them (fill a cooler to go home witya), excellent stuff (just try not to think of where the profits go). Per the PL website they now have a dairy in Colorado, not far either.

SPI, so much of my mis-spent youth and middle age was enjoyed there, what I remember anyway… BTW, real life was far better than your mags…
Many days, nights, weeks on the beach and on the water; it’s one of the best places in the US for sailing, fishing, etc., almost always a good wind, beeootiful water in the Gulf and Laguna Madre, paradise (well, it’s sure not Hawai’i, but it’s close by). At least it was long ago, SPI’s really built up since then, crowded; glad I knew it when it was fairly ‘unknown’. I’m one of very few living people who have actually sailed into the mouth of and up the Rio Grande River (just a few miles south of SPI). Those entrance bars were murderous surf, today you’d get machinegunned, at best. Man, the LEO/ICE/DEA/or droga cartel response one would get sailing in there today. :[
