See, Here’s The Deal – I Am Mad Dog Pissed Off
Who the hell does Debbie Wasserman Schultz think she is and why can’t I be who she thinks she is because that person can walk on damn water.
So DWS messed up big time. In all honesty, she has been messing up little and medium time since the day she became head of the DNC in 2011. The leaked emails made me so hot that Verdelia was scared that my sweat was gonna make me short-out.
She agreed to step down but she refuses to leave until after the convention. Next thing I know Hillary hires her for the campaign. What the dickens is that about? She she going to be the net Secretary f State or something?
I wanna tell you something. She has a primary opponent. The Florida primary election is August 20th and she has a problem with her opponent – she won’t debate him.
His name is Tim Canova and he deserves a look.
Thanks to Bryan for the heads up.
Thank you for plugging Tim Canova. He is a true progressive & a class act & he deserves the support of lefties all over the country.
1Look at the bright side, if she’s busy helping the Clinton campaign with their national strategy, she will have that much less time to campaign in FL. I think the writing is on the wall for her seat. All I can think is she was not going to go quietly and the job with the campaign was the carrot.
2Damn just when you thought it was safe to turn on the TV.
3The Demo’s start acting like the GOP. I for one don’t give a damn about if you are left enough, to suit the far, far left.
Let’s get together and hand Drumpf his ass. It will not be easy.
Their are a lot of low IQ bigot’s out there. And they vote. After we win the election then let the back stabbing began. Till then let’s work to put the only choice.[ for any one with a IQ. above room temp. ] in the white house.
Rastybob: Debbie is a Republican posing as a Democrat. If Hillary really has hired her, I might vote for the Libertarian candidates. Their video shows both of them are better than the clueless on the R ticket, and the Hill I can’t bring myself to climb on the D side. That heaven she picked Tim Kaine. He’s class.
4C’mon fellow Democrats of every stripe. Get your math brains achugging. Whomever you prefer, VOTE FOR CLINTON in November, 2016. (Except Republicans perusing this, you guys vote January 19th 2017.) Because if you don’t vote FOR Clinton you have voted mathematically FOR Hair Drumpf and the snacilbupeR. It is really, really just that simple.
5Remember that old saying abut where you keep your friends and enemies? As long was DWS is hard at work on the campaign and under a managerial eye, she is less likely to be trouble. This should in some little way reassure all those of you out there who got passed over for a promotion by some idiot. The idiot needed the kind of supervision usually available at an asylum or was actually being hung out to dry as in when the idiot did screw up again it was totally final. I’ve seen all this happen.
6I don’t particularly want to defend DWS, but she quashed her staffers from using Bernie’s religion or lack thereof. I see this as someone being railroaded out for no better reason than the BernieBros needing to collect a scalp.
You may want to stop and think that both Obama and Clinton are supporting her. Cavuto is on the record as wanting to tear up the Iranian treaty. Is that really someone to support?
Last, unless Hillary starts spewing the unmitigated crap that the Dumpster campaign does, claiming that a rather obscure personnel change is enough to make you reconsider your vote then you are either a troll or too stupid to be trusted with a fork.
7I suspect that keeping her (DWS) busy “doing other things” might also keep her fingers off the keyboard of computers, and tweets, and you know.
She screwed up. She resigned. It’s over. By tomorrow …. it will be ‘day-before-yesterday’s news’ and Trump will still be doing and saying outrageous things, and grabbing headlines.
Meanwhile, I’m going to relax and watch the convention.
I do also think (not that it makes a whole heck of a lot of difference at this point in time)……. The Russians own Trump. He has declared bankruptcy so many times… that American banks will no longer lend him money. Did they (the Russians) leak this stuff to hurt Clinton? and help elect Trump? Of course they did. JMHO.
It’s a reminder to us all……. be careful……on the internet. What you say…… and do…… could possibly come back and bite you in the butt…. at any given time. 🙂
8And the best place to look for Tim Canova is Act Blue.
¡Dinero para Canova!
9I was a little surprised to read that Hillary Clinton has hired her as campaign manager, but then, she was always a HRC supporter. Maybe she can do less harm there than out somewhere on the loose.
10Let’s both make sure that Trump does not get elected AND keep pushing the Democratic Party in the direction of a return to its New Deal roots.
The 1990s Triangulation stuff worked 20 years ago, but no longer.
11So DWS is now formally involved in Hillary’s campaign.
12Roger Ailes seems destined for the Drumpf hate machine.
Are we really going to let these d**n emails distract us from our all-important goal. Democrats, unite against fear, hate and ignorance.
Let me ask everybody…….. Why are we talking about “e-mails”? We spent months on Benghazi…… and e-mails…..
People are still killing people with guns….. Once more on Monday. And……. we are talking about e-mails.
We are still waiting for judges to be heard and confirmed. And……. we are talking about e-mails.
Can we finally get to the REAL ISSUES that are important to just us ordinary folks.
Trump…… doesn’t want YOUR GUNS……. HE WANTS MY SOCIAL SECURITY….. (and your grammas, and moms….).
Let’s get off e-mails……. and discuss issues.
Thank you.
13I agree with you…she should have resigned months ago. However, Hillary made her a “honorary” chair. A position that has no duties, no budget, no responsibility. I think President Obama had several of them. Hillary tossed a nice little “sop” her way to ease her feelings. I wish she had done it in private or in some other way. From what I have read there were only 6 or 7 of the emails that were anti-Bernie. I am a Bernie fan…Like him, the important thing is to not elect Trump….So I will vote for the Hillary/Kaine ticket.
14I don’t think that the Repubs can Swift Boat Hillary Clinton. She’s too good at fighting back.
What they can do, and made a start at during their convention, is to define her. (“Crooked Hillary;” Hillary belongs in jail, etc.)
Remember how they defined the ACA: socialism, a handout to minorities, death panels, etc.? And this worked because the Dems en masse didn’t fight back. It helped make 2010 a state election blowout for the Repubs and we are still paying for that.
Now we have the Dem convention starting up and so far it’s a Trump wet dream. Clinton and the Dem party are being labelled as inherently dishonest… Or, as Trump would (and will) say, it’s a rigged system. If the Repub definition of Clinton is allowed to prevail at the Dem convention we could be in big trouble.
Either Clinton or Trump is going to be President. Attacking Clinton at this point in time helps Trump.
It is important to remember that Trump may win. And then to ask if you really want to help that happen.
15Debbie WTF Schultz has been on my list since she failed to wrap her precious little mind around the Iran deal.
Good luck to Bernie tonight. He speaks after FLOTUS Obama and Senator Warren. He’ll need to be on fire to follow those two.
16LynnN, the surrogates and supporters of Hilz need to adopt #MoocherDonnie. Nail his pelt to the wall with his missing tax returns and the obvious fact he pays no taxes. Then take a swing at his in name only ‘charitable’ contributions.
17Apparently, she is an honorary chair of the campaign. Which is basically a fancy title with no budget and no power. So essentially, she was given a face saving position to ease her out of her position and to keep her from causing all kinds of issues. More on that:

18@pkm
Great hashtag.
Now if some talented someone (looking at you Primo) can take Cab Calloway’s Minnie the Moocher and compose Donnie the Moocher. In particular Minnie’s man was “cokey”, if you know what I mean and I think you do.
19Miemaw for the win today. Thanks for that reminder.
20I think the appropriate expression came from LBJ: better inside the tent pissing out than outside pissing in.
Can anybody find a speakers’ schedule for the Dem con? All I get are lists of who speaks on what days, not when. Granted times will slip, but I’d like some idea when to turn it on when I have other things to do.
21I’ve donated to Tim Canova in the past. I think I’ll donate again!
22Just a quickie…
About the DNC emails. Political parties have been doing backroom strategy since 1790. No news here. I wonder what Drumpf would do if he got a hold of Rence’s emails!
23Tim Canova opposes the Iran nuclear arms deal. I went to his Issues page, but the section on US support for Israel doesn’t expand like the others do. Why doesn’t he defend his stance on that topic? https://timcanova.com/issues
24Rhea, the speeches begin @7 EDT.
25Rhea, another old-timey political quote that I think is apt when people claim Hillary has sold out to corporations is as follows:
“As they say around the Texas Legislature, if you can’t drink their whiskey, screw their women, take their money, and vote against ’em anyway, you don’t belong in office.”
Molly Ivins (adapted from Jesse Unruh)
Politics is not a noble profession. For one thing, it is full of ambitious people. But that is precisely why it is important that our politicians are better politicians than theirs. In an election nobility doesn’t count for much. The winner gets the power.
I really, really, really do not want Trump to win.
26Linking to The Daily Caller???
27If you are at 18 that’s Daily Kos, not Daily Caller! Take a deep breath! 😉
28Ooh I didn’t look at the original article link, got all my stuff from the BBC :0
29@LynnN
Big Daddy aimed that quote squarely at lobbyists seeking to influence members of the Cali lege. It doesn’t carry the same political weight otherwise, IMO.
30Senator Sanders press secretary Simone Sanders tweeted “7 folks on an email didn’t “steal” an election”.
31When Big Daddy Unruh was in power, campaign financing was different, but the idea of special interests essentially bribing politicians has not changed. That is how many people want to describe Clinton’s speaking fees. I think she is perfectly capable of accepting the fees and voting against the corporations that provided them, so I felt the quote does apply.
32Re Wasserman Schultz and her supposed promotion, this article tells a different story:
33http://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/7/25/1551930/-Debbie-Wasserman-Schultz-did-not-get-promoted-and-she-s-not-running-Hillary-s-campaign?detail=email&link_id=5&can_id=17800a8a8457a80b0c9d3f6bf5ce9e3c&source=email-booing-nancy&email_referrer=booing-nancy&email_subject=booing-nancy
And don’t forget her scheduling of debates to compete with sporting events on TV.
34I could not find confirmation of what JuanitaJean said, and hoped I would not. This is what I’ve found (and it may be “too much” even though, if true, it’s less than what I interpreted JJ’s post to say: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/7/25/1551930/-Debbie-Wasserman-Schultz-did-not-get-promoted-and-she-s-not-running-Hillary-s-campaign
