Sean Sumbitch
Y’all, Sean Spicer just blamed Barack Obama for the unspeakable chemical attack in Syria this morning.
I. Am. NOT. Kidding.
White House press secretary Sean Spicer told reporters Tuesday that a gas attack in a rebel-controlled area of Syria was perpetrated by the forces tied to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and are a “consequence of the past administration’s weakness and irresolution.”
No, no, no, it would have nothing to do with the fact that a totally insane man is president now, his goofy son in law is running the country, the secretary of state is being ignored, Twitter exists for the perverse pleasure of one man, and that Vladimir Putin is calling all the damn shots.
Trump gave them permission to do this. He wants to partner with Putin and al-Assad. It happened because they knew Trump wouldn’t do anything because he told them he wouldn’t do anything. Let me say that again – Trump told them that he wouldn’t do anything to al-Assad.
I’m too heartbroken about what happened and too angry to to be funny.
Someone ask Spicer if what happened is the “consequence of the past administration’s weakness and irresolution.”” then what the hell is Trump going to do about this to show that he’s mighty, resolute and righteous instead of the amoral cowardly a-hole that he really is?
1This happened during Trump’s watch and they’re placing the blame on the previous admin just like the republicans tried to blame 9/11 on Clinton when it happened during Bush’s watch. Trump will start WWIII and all the “good” guys will be against us.
2I wonder if the words “libel suit” will be spoken to the Trumpies…
3No sign on Trump’s desk that says “The Buck Stops Here.”
4Too many back channel favors which require a payoff. That buck barely has a chance to slow down, much less stop.
Orange Whore’s idiotic attack in Syria was horrific and one more thing to hate him for.
The “press corp” Sphincter allows into the briefings is deteriorating because he’s barring the real press and allowing right wing idiots. Remember Jeff Gannon, the real whore who was GWB’s pal in the press? Sphincter is filling up the press room with that type of synchophant. National Memo has the story here:

@Rick#4-I’d believe the “buck” is rightly afraid to slow down, or stop, for fear that one, or the other, of tRUMP’s big-game hunting sons would shoot it. Regardless it’ll never end up on tRUMP’s desk. If they were to shoot it it’d be way over yonder somewhere.
6The entire White House is an insane asylum. The hoofwanking bunglecunt cockwomble inhabitants need to be in straight jackets and muzzled for good. All they know are lies and disinformation. The whole group are traitors to the Constitution and the citizens of the United States.
7The genocide going on in Syria is unconscionable and must be stopped. Trump & Co. will not take a stand. This is where the loss of American leadership will be fatal.
8Don’t be dissing Twitter like that. I get a lot of good material there and I rarely see Dipstick’s comments unless someone uses one as a straight line.
9As of this AM, 5 Apt 17, there are 72 dead in Syria from poison gas. Many are children. Trump and co are RESPOBSIBLE for each and every one of those deaths. Why? Complete lack of any leadership. Trump is a laughingstock. Putin knows that the buffoon will just tweet, do nothing and the rethuglicans in congress are just as responsible. McConnell, that’s you. Ryan that’s you.
10Obama’s fault? He’s not a candidate or in office any more. Ergo, those arguments are empty. Its a another way of saying “well, don’t look at use. We told you not to look at us. But you keep doing it! You’re so mean!”
Somebody left the keys in the car and now a five year old is behind the wheel as it slides down the driveway, slides further down the street, slides further . . .
11OK, yes. President Obama didn’t invade Syria. After threatening to do so if Syria attacked its own people with gas. He didn’t do it. In that, Tweety is correct.
President Obama did, however, ask Congress to authorize an invasion. Whose job is it to declare war? Why that would be the House of Representatives. What did Congress do? They looked this way, they looked that way, they delicately placed their fingers to their chests and said, “Who, me?” And they did nothing.
Meanwhile, Tweety was — you guessed it — ALL OVER TWITTER typing over and over and over and over, “We must stay out of Syria!” “This is Syria’s fight, not ours!” And, on a regular basis, resorting to all caps, “WE MUST STAY OUT OF SYRIA!!!!!” and similar messages.
For several weeks.
Who knew his attention span was that long?
And who knew that people could look stuff up on the interwebs and know what you did last summer? Or several years ago?
Who knew?
Not the guy who just sold our personal information to the highest bidder, that’s for sure.

Of course, this isn’t a new tactic.
Six years into his presidency, Reagan was blaming President Carter for the lackadaisical economy which everyone else blamed on Reagan’s own policies.
There is nothing new under the sun.
