Sarah Sanders Admitted to Mueller that She Lied to the Public

April 18, 2019 By: El Jefe Category: Mueller, Trump

You’ll recall that way back in 2017 when Trump fired James Comey, Sarah Sanders, White House Liar, stood at the briefing room podium and told the American people that the FBI under Comey had been in turmoil and that “countless FBI agents” had called and told the White House how unhappy they were under Comey.  She later admitted that her statement “wasn’t based on anything”.  In other words, she stood in the White House briefing room and knowingly lied to the American people to protect Trump.

  1. Are we surprised?
    We are not.

  2. I wonder how many others of the Top 10 she’s broken. I’m willing to bet at least 3 or 4.

It would be easier to count the number of times Sarah Huckabuck told the truth. Like her boss, her default setting is to lie. A perfect fit for the most corrupt administration in ou history

  4. Lock her up.

  5. The Surly Professor says:

Aw, come on folks. She said it “was a slip of the tongue”. Who among us hasn’t started to say “Sarah Huckabee Sanders is a fine, honest person”, and it accidentally came out as “That no-good liar routinely has sex with farm lifestock”? It’s just as easy of a mistake to make as having “slip shod” come out as “ship slod”.

Sarah Chuck-a-Load Sandbag is the role model for Kellyanne’s ‘alternative facts.’ Born and raised to lie, she epitomizes the bridge between the evilicals and Trumpism. She’s the Forked Tongue Empress of the southern strategy.

  7. She serves at the pleasure of the President. And his satisfaction demands the services of a liar.

  8. Joe Hill says:

I grew up in Baptist churches. She is a very recognizable type to me. A “Church Lady’. Bossy, controlling, but also ignorant and closed minded all at once. Nothing about her surprises me. She probably has no idea what a stereotyped POS she is.

Sooo, RE: The Mueller Report, Vol I, ToC:

I want to know who the redacted “ii”, “v” and “vii” peeps are (from list below), don’t you too?
There sure is a lot of blacked out stuff in there… The House (and Senate) had damned well better subpoena and dig into an UNredacted version ASAP!

    V. PROSECUTION AND DECLINATION DECISIONS
    C. Russian Government Outreach and Contacts
    4. False Statements and Obstruction of the Investigation
    b. Application to Certain Individuals

  10. That should be every reporter’s response whenever she says anything – “Sarah, is that based on anything or are you lying again?”

  11. slipstream says:

Sandridge @9: there is a wee bit of an ongoing matter in the case of Paul Manafort. I think that name would fit nicely at “v”.

  12. Occasionally I swallow bile and check out what the Fox propaganda network are spewing. Tonight the Steele dossier is back. Only as far as the supposed reason for the entire “witch Hunt” investigation. To listen to them, the whole Mueller Report shebang was started by the Steele dossier, instead of wiretapping of sneaky f**king Russian spies trying to influence our whole national dialogue. To erode our faith and trust in the Democracy we’ve fought and died for for a coupla centuries in favor of the kinda authoritarianism that makes 33% of our fellow citizens feel warm and fuzzy.

  13. This may sound odd, but I’m not sure it matters that Sarah lies to the press. Presidential spokespeople do that. We know they do to shape their narrative. Here’s a Doonesbury cartoon from 1973, making that very point: https://www.gocomics.com/doonesbury/1973/08/14

What does matter is that the press doesn’t push back. Very few members of the press – April Ryan and Jim Acosta come to mind, but there may be more – challenge Sarah. It seems pretty simple from the outside: just ask for proof. But they mostly don’t, and they report her lies verbatim.

Also: you can see Sarah lying. You can hear her tell you things you know aren’t true. Why is anyone surprised?

    13
  14. Sandridge says:

slipstream @11, agree that Manafort probably fits, but would rather it were Jr or Eric. You’d think some of the redactions could get puzzled out by ‘reverse’ techniques, but I think that Barr & Thugs have wised up and will be covering every angle FNO.

P.P. @12, Totalitarian-Orwellian propaganda techniques have been at peak utilization since Comrade Bonespurs announced that he was running for prez. As blatant as their lies are, they almost always have the designed and desired effects on the masses via the disingenuous MSM (the FuxNooz&RWR propaganda channels are a given).
These guys are far better at it than most realize, the media and Dems are always getting rolled; that 33% of MAGAots are utterly hopeless and forever blind, can only hope that their fecundity stays below replacement ratio and they all die off eventually.

“Lying for the Lard” was the first thing that popped into my head when I first heard Sista Sarah’s WH spokesperson bs performance.

    15
  16. Toes, that’s perfect.

  17. This girl has absolutely no sense at all – especially a sense of shame.
