  1. Elizabeth Moon says:

We could have a pool for how long until a staffer complains of his sexual misconduct or he’s caught with illegal drugs.

  2. Harry Eagar says:

A strange collection of congresscritters from Texas this round, even compared to the usual high standards of strangeness.

Did you know there is a Chicken Caucus in Congress?

The absolute worst congresscritter in the history of congresscritters is in it, Scott Des Jarlais.

They need a Hypocrite Caucus, and Jackson and Des Jarlais can be charter members.

  3. And yet, Cuomo getting “Frankened” loudly in the MSM, with calls for his resignation. I recall there was a lot of “boys wil be Boys” from the MSM with T****.

  4. Jane & PKM says:

lol CNN captures the news 3-4 years after the world knew.

Papa @3, if Cuomo is being “Frankened,” fear not, he will fight. Senator Franken cared more about his family than combatting the QOP whataboutism game; a personal and respectable choice. If there are rats involved, Cuomo will not be bitten, if he has options.

  5. Is “blinds right in” a newer phrase that went right over my head, or more of a typo?
I would hate to feel left out.

  6. I’m getting pretty tired of seeing Democrats driven out when Republicans do horrible things and never have to take the consequences.

  7. Karen in New Mexico says:

AK Lynne @ 5 – I agree!! If we are hoping that Republicans will learn from our high road example, it isn’t working.

  8. Buttermilk Sky says:

Harry Eagar is right about the Chicken Caucus. It appears to be a bipartisan group formed in 2011 to raise awareness of the poultry industry. Damn, I was hoping to see Louie Gohmert in a chicken suit.

  9. Juanita Jean Herownself says:

Nope – typo! I’ll fix it.

  10. Grandma Ada says:

I’d have to be a drunk on Ambien to examine his majesty! Ewww!

  11. AK Lynne, I was sort of glad to see that Democrats aren’t beating up on Cuomo as much as they could. I think as long as the QOP guys can get away with this crap, people like Cuomo should…

  12. The Surly Professor says:

Grandma Ada @ 11: I’m sure it’s like the “greatest physical condition and healthiest of any president ever” diagnosis T**** got in 2016. T**** wrote the letter, then had his chaffeur take it to the doctor to sign. So no actual contact with a human being was required.

Although I have avoided T**** news as much as possible, good old Bette Midler has a great new song out: Goodbye, Donnie:

  13. Playing devil’s advocate for a moment, if I was Ex-president Trump’s personal physician, or personal anything for that matter, I don’t know if a cocktail of booze and Ambien would be enough to navigate day after day around Trump, his family and the circus performers at the White House.

    s @ 10 — re: Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R-TX) …

And Colorado has been taking fire for Rep. Lauren Boebert? As far as I know, she’s only had a Communication Director and an intern leave her staff.

Any more details about the fine elected official representing a portion of Texas?

  15. Steve from Beaverton says:

Ronny saw the access Hollywood tape of his boss and thought “I’m famous now, so I can get away with anything” act. Sounds like a lot of witnesses can corroborate his doctor makes hotel house calls and booze on duty shtick.
Wasn’t he active military then? Perfect repugnantican.

  16. Linda Phipps says:

Elizabeth Moon #1 – no staffer would dare complain, he would make their lives even more miserable. They had to be pretty terrible people to begin with.
