Republican Men Just Don’t Seem To Have The Emotional Stability To Be in Politics
Momma would not mind me posting this because it just goes to show that Florida Republicans were not raised properly.
Ted Yoho accosted AOC on the steps of the capitol. He was a total jerk. Following a discussion …
The two then parted ways. Ocasio-Cortez headed into the building, while Yoho, joined by Rep. Roger Williams (R-Texas), began descending toward the House office buildings. A few steps down, Yoho offered a parting thought to no one in particular.
“Fucking bitch,” he said.
Go on home, Ted, and exilian your clever comment to the church ladies in your district. Knowing hem, they’ll put it in the Book of Common Prayer.
Thanks to everybody for the heads up.
your mother was what????
1One regret I have about letting myself get so old: I may be dead before I get a chance to vote for AOC as president. She’s got the policies I agree with, is both witty and quick-witted, and showed serious political chops from the start (e.g., supporting Pelosi for Speaker when many of the newbies were grumbling).
Now: let’s see the GOP House leadership jump in to defend her and attack this lack of civility from one of their own. Williams also apparently shouted at her, but now claims he missed out on the interaction, being too busy thinking about upcoming bills. Yeah, right.
2Anyone who would pull that bleep on AOC has to be suicidal!
3Such language reveals his innate brilliance…
4What an extensive vocabulary.
5The bio on his website used to mention his being a Christian and his strong Christian values it no longer does. Coincidence or is he finally being truthful about something.
He is an @sshole. I remember when he was a newbie and tried to run for Speaker. He declared himself successful because 25 others voted against Boehner.
6As someone once said, some people remain silent and are thought stupid. Others open their mouth and remove all doubt.
7Are you sure Yahoo isn’t the correct spelling?
8I probably won’t live long enough to do it myself, but I’ll definitely buy a tshirt or hat that says “I’m voting for that f***ing bitch.”
9I consider him, not Louie, the stupidest member of Congress; but not the vilest. That’s Des Jarlais.
10did you seriously expect anything better?
11Could this be a result of Boss Tweet’s return to Covid briefing, without scientific advisors? As in the GOPs are being sunk by MAGAts ruining the country, and the party members are getting nervous?
Either that or censure (if the exchange was proven) is the new MAGAt badge of honor…
12Professor @2:
13Getting old sucks. But IMHO, it beats the hell out of the alternative.
Is it general “ lack of emotional stability “ or was he pmsing— remember why women cannot be in combat or fighter jet pilots or astronauts or anything like that?
14Yahoo or Gohmert, what a choice. Nope, Gohmert really is the dumbest sob god every put breath into.
While the guy could have kept his mouth shut and just let everyone think he’s an ass … naw, he’s a Republican. So he has issued an non-apology. Juicy phrasing here:
“The offensive name-calling, words attributed to me by the press were never spoken to my colleagues and if they were construed that way, apologize for my—I apologize for my misunderstanding.”
In other words, he was saying “fucking bitch” while walking away, but it was never spoken to AOC. Nope, just pure coincidence that he happened to be talking to himself (like all the urine-stinking crazy guys do) and it was right after screaming at her.
Now I gotta go look up where his district is, so I can be sure to never even drive through it.
