Remember Pistol Pete Sessions? I Think He Has a Brain Tumor.

July 12, 2012 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Seriously. There’s something seriously wrong with Texas Republican Congressvarmint Pete Sessions of Dallas. He is also the head of the National Republican Congressional Committee, the Republican politics arm of congress.

Take a look at what’s coming out of his mouth.

Washington (CNN) – The chief of the House Republicans’ campaign arm said Thursday it was “fair game” for people to ask for more information about GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s personal financial records.

“His personal finances, the way he does things, his record, are fair game,” Texas Republican Pete Sessions told CNN.

Well, it did seem a bit odd that a party who accuses a Democratic President of murder would get so bend outta shape about lying on SEC reports.

But, seriously, there is something in Pistol Pete’s brain doing him some good.

Be social and share!

  1. He will receive some calls to bring him back in line. Watch for a back-peddle from him in the next few days.

  2. Pete must have put in his letter of resignation last week and doesn’t care what he says about Myth.

  3. I am a securities attorney and lying on Schedule 13ds is a felony. The statute of limitations may have run on this lies and I doubt that the SEC will pursue these charges at this time. Lawrence O’Donnell had a former SEC Commissioner on tonight and she did a good job of explaining why these lies are bad and why Bain’s and Romney’s explanation does not make any sense.

I am enjoying watching this story.

  4. With friends like the radical right Romney better be careful to keep his back to the wall. I still have a hard time believing that the “base” really prefers an incumbent Romney in 2016 to a termed-out Obama.

  5. I suspect you’re right, LynnN. Republicans know how to win whether they win or lose. It galls me to say it, but they are brilliant at turning either outcome to their advantage.

  6. Ron Paul still has a chance at bringing some serious numbers to the convention. His voting block will be something that needs to be dealt with, by at least putting him on the VP ticket. Otherwise, previous statements notwithstanding, Paul is very likely to go third party and really cause problems for the Republicans. Just sayin’.

    Angela, “Myth” Romney is priceless!

I’m going to have to steal that.

  8. Interesting to see republicnas taking swipe at romney. I bet there will be a few more.
I think we still may have a surprise at the republican convention.

I think republicans were banking on the AHC act being decimated by the Supreme Court.
The secrets about romney’s finances are slowly coming out.
Massachusetts citizens do not like romney. The only thing they like him for was the health care bill he passed while Gov.
Watch the Boston Globe for interesting articles. They have already stood up to romney and refused to retract the ‘Truth’ about him.

I have a feeling that republicans know they have a person who is not going to ‘light hair on fire’ and lose big time.
His religious views are worse then the Catholics to the Evangelicals.

I think there is going to be a big ole fight at the r convention.
And romney will either just barely be the nominee or there will be a major surprise.

@Diane: Do you want to crawl out on the limb and predict the “major surprise” at the R Convention? Jeb Bush to rescue, riding his white charger?? Or will they recycle some tired old swayback from the past? Maybe one who languished as second banana? Hmmmmmm?

Whilst out on the limb I predict a more traditional “October Surprise”. I opine that the Obama camp has something potentially toxic, or at least interesting, on Willard’s financial arrangements.

Either way I’m as ready for this fall’s campaign as I am for Texas and the Dodgers in the Series!

Worked (as a peon) for Corporate America for 40 years and I could see Myth not being involved in day-to-day when he flew to rescue Olympics by having taxpayers save his backside but IF he is such a fantastic business leader he would be fully briefed and that would include knowing what they were doing at every step of the process. If he didn’t know and signed SEC documents then he committed fraud and can’t run on his business experience unless he has someone like Bernie Madoff as his VP nominee. I think Myth is motivated by what makes him look good more than brain power but don’t know him, don’t want to know him, make the bad man go away.

As for Condi — aren’t there several books out that kind of show her ineffectiveness and lack of genuine depth on any area she was in charge of leading off with the bin Laden threat?

Also read in a response to an article in WaPo from a Mass. voter something about Myth (I love that name) giving a huge $$ deal to one of his sons to handle a state education program? I don’t know anything about his tenure except what I’ve read (and my goodness he handled the job like $ister $arah) and while he didn’t resign after 2 years he pretty much was never there unless it was do raise fees (but not taxes) and drive employers and workers out of state. Anyone else hear anything on this?
