So much hope! I’m going with my gut instinct that TFG will never serve a day of incarceration. I’d rather expect him to live in a miserable existence of denial, and grow elated at breaking news that I was wrong.
19Sandridge and Papa (and others here): I agree with your feelings on this. The slam dunk will occur when the cross-correlation is made between the names/IDs that T**** had access to via the stolen documents and the spies and informants that the CIA has identified as being exposed.
On the other half of the classified documents, I’ve not encountered any Republicans who can answer the question “why did Trump want to declassify nuclear secrets that everyone else in the US government wanted to be kept closed?” And “even if he had the authority to declassify them, why haven’t the citizens of the US been given access to them?”
Those are the questions that no one can answer in a way that makes T**** look like anything but a traitor.

21Special master? With his private background I’m surprised he didn’t insist on a special mistress! He’s been playing ball with loans form the Mafia for years, and I mean the type of Mafia in other countries. 45 may well end up in a sutuation where he is held for one r4ason or another in something resembling the federal lock ups for white collar crimunals while “awaiting trial”. Very comfortable but definitely not free, his “passports” rescinded and taken away and the real courtroom trial still dangling in his “future” until he croaks.

23Judge Cannon can demand documents all she wants. But I don’t think the agencies will give them to her. I’m sure that Mexico would lease us a white-collar prison cell for tfg with a dirt floor and a bucket.
Sandridge, maggie: the best suggestion I’ve seen for a special master in this case is Hillary Clinton. She has a law degree, and already has a security clearance.
Plus the spluttering and shrieking from the Trumpistas would be a delight.
24Heard on the news this morning that there’s a “hearing” in front of the judge 9/1 before a decision is supposed to be made. Hope the DOJ makes a strong case why this is a dangerous move. Assume they can appeal to a higher court if she rules in trumpf’s favor before anything happens thus delaying the order. At least I hope so.
