Really, Now?
So the folks over at CNN are saying that Trump “berated” Hope Hicks for admitting that she told “white lies” for him. Trump, of course says that’s not true. Trump expects us to believe him because he’s never berated anyone before now.
But the line that startled me was this: “Said the source: ‘She was his last emotional crutch’.” Wait, are you telling me that Trump had an emotional crutch? If so, Hope probably doesn’t want to put that on her resume.
And have mercy on Jared’s evil soul. Can you imagine selling US foreign policy for a personal bank loan? That boy ought to have a $ sign on his shirt. They say that his dad took the fall for him last time, but it appears that Jared is on his own in this shark tank. Bless his dark heart.
Jared is a snake along with Ivanka, and Stephen Miller. This is the Trump inner circle, brain trust, loopy, self-dealing, anti-american….

3As usual, you’ve displayed more wisdom, class, and self control than I would’ve been able to when talking about anyone in this repugnant administration. If I had written that last sentence, the first word would’ve been four letters long, beginning with an F.
If he needs an emotional crutch, perhaps a Support Animal would help. I think a Honey Badger would be really appropriate.

5RE: Treason
nothing Drumpf and his minions have done rises to the standard of Treason as defined in the Constitution. I can’t imagine in even my wildest dreams that Mueller’s team will charge anyone in Drumpf administration with Treason.
WaPo has a brief op-ed piece, Five myths about treason, that is worth the time to read. (The link is lengthy and so not embedded here.) The op-ed piece explains the legal, Constitutional definition of Treason and gives examples of outrages which are not Treason.
The patrons here and TV talking heads who have mentioned prosecution of the Drumpf cabal under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, RICO, seem to me at least, to be on point. RICO ultimately got Michael Milken, and recently several members of the Gambino Family and of the Lucchese family. In addition about half the States have adopted local versions of RICO enabling State prosecution of RICO crimes. Remember a State prosecution removes the ability of the POTUS to pardon these criminals, although it puts a Governor’s pardon on the table.
I for one will be most satisfied if Mueller’s team charges Drumpf with “high crimes and misdemeanors” and recommends impeachment to the Congress.
And of course, seeing Jared and Ivanka and brothers qusay and uday taken away in handcuffs would make my day as well.
The glass bowls that so far have eluded Mueller’s attention, Roger Stone and Corey Lewandowski, need handcuffs as well. I’m just not sure “lewd and despicable” is a Federal Capital offense.

And, one short annotation on the resignation of Hope Hicks. CPAC, whatever shylock organization that Matt Schlapp runs and the NRA are concerned about their agendas. They took it personal when Donnie went soft on Tuesday for DACA followed by another soft Tuesday on gun control. They want their Thursday Donnie back; seven days a week. Hope Hicks had to go to make room Die dicke Bertha, Mercedes Schlapp. Her other moniker is “Mercy.” But don’t expect any, unless you are male, white and of spoiled brat level inherited wealth.
