Plus, He Lies So Much His Wife Has To Call The Dogs

Come to find out, Donald Trump’s bankruptcy lawyers met with him in pairs because … he lies so much.

BuzzFeed did a doc dump from Trump’s public records.  The search was on and someone found the priceless sworn testimony of the two lawyers.

In one document, bankruptcy attorney George Miller reveals that when meeting with Trump, “it’s always been our practice to make sure that two people are present, and we don’t have a problem with people lying.”

Miller calls Trump “an expert at interpreting things. Let’s put it that way.”

“We tried to [meet in pairs] with Donald always if we could because Donald says certain things and then has a lack of memory,” he says in the deposition.

Not that we didn’t already know that.  That’s why we always have to meet with him in groups of two or three million.

Thanks to Kyle for the heads up.

  2. I wish I had thought of this a year ago, I’d be rich:

The 2016 Donald Trump Calendar of Double Daily Quotes. Every day a new topic that’s on The Donald’s mind, with two contradictory quotations on the subject. Something for everyone!

  3. I have friends that are supporting Trump even though I thought they had better sense. They are posting bs on facebook, mostly disproven of Snopes years ago, questioning Hillary’s honesty. Incredible.

Gentlemen… it’s called audio tape. And yes, you can compel him to use it. “Just so we don’t have these disagreements about what was said in the future, I prefer we tape these meetings.” If he says no, do it anyway. Sneaky? Unethical? Sure. But look who you’re dealing with. Grow a pair, boys.

  5. JAKvirginia, you think that would help? He’s had lots of practice denying that he said what he said when it’s right there on audio and even video tape. I don’t know why the lawyers thought he wouldn’t deny saying what he said if two of them contradict him.

And it rubs off– Pence is doing it now.

Rhea? You’re right, of course. But it’s one thing to deny what you obviously did to your idiot followers who’ll believe anything you say, and another thing to deny it to lawyers. Either way, the record shows, without exception, the first thing to be lost when dealing with Trump is trust.

  9. I was surprised to hear that Trump could go 195 seconds without lying. To adapt Mary McCarthy’s comment on Lillian Hellman, ‘Every word he says is a lie, including ‘and’ and ‘the’.”

Re: taping conversations/depositions. I know someone who is a court reporter and she uses both stenograph and audio recordings. Even so it’s sometimes difficult to reconcile the two records especially when the words used are non-standard or someone has an accent, etc.

  11. Dumbo is a “fact denier”. We already have dozens of instances when he was recorded, both audio and video, but he steadfastly refuses to concede what is obviously reality. A longstanding Rethug trait.
