Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Nuts, I tell you, Nuts!
1Shall steal and pass around, many thanks!!
Slightly off topic maybe, but I see a certain pattern:
2/…/ In one of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge takeover’s weekend postings to social media. leader Ammon Bundy displayed a BRONZE STAR /…/ given to him by veterans and family members who he said support their cause/…/
http://www.ktvz.com/news/bundy-displays-bronze-star-uniform-flag-given-by-visitors/37628628
Done shared it.
3He never was. And never will be.
4I recently saw a Grateful Dead t-shirt that said “MAKE AMERICA GRATEFUL AGAIN”
Went straight home and ordered one.
5Does the generous offer to share include twitter bombing Donnie, e-mailing his campaign tent, etc? Media, too? There’s plenty to be said to CNN for paying Corey Lewandowski and Jeffrey Lord.
6John, you are a graphic genius. Thank you for sharing with all my friends and family (except the Repugs)
7Don’t you imagine, if a Democratic presidential nominee was “given” without earning it, a purple heart, the very next day the Republicans would be filing a bill to make it illegal?
And Faux news would be screaming about liberals?
8I know Diane. That purple heart thing was really creepy. Another “really creepy” in Scumpf Bizzaro World? A photo Wapo keeps running of the old slime ball holding 2 poor little babies at a campaign stop. Eeeeuuuuuuuw!
9Beensurfing the internet. Seems there is a huge concern that Trump will abdicate basing his move on his usual mantra, “its all rigged! I’m being treated unfairly!” RNC has no idea how to handle this. There is even some babble about doing an “intervention” on Trump. Good luck with that!
10A friend is making bumper stickers that say
11Trump/Putin ooops Pence
Actually, RNC already has rules in place to handle situations where the nominee can’t continuer for some reason. As I recall, the rules basically say RNC can then pick anyone they want. Sounds like a plan, to me.
“Rule 9 of the Republican National Committee rules governs “Filling Vacancies in Nominations,” and stipulates that should the party’s presidential or vice presidential candidate leave the ticket for whatever reason, the hole may be filled either by a reconvening of the national convention or by the party committee itself. The vice presidential nominee is not given any preferential consideration.”

12Yoicks! – Hillary might end up having to run against Paul Ryan after all. Which could be really dangerous, because he seems so sane in
contrast to Trump, and maintains a thin veneer of humanity.
Though I’m sure the hard-core Trombies wouldn’t vote for anyone else. They might take up arms and take to the streets, though.
13What would his followers do if the RNC got rid of Trump?
Trump is no worse then he was during the primary season. He went after all the other republicans, Fox news and women, minorities and Muslims.
He said crazy things. Really crazy things.
But we hold fallen soldiers higher then we do others. And that is the issue.
I am disgusted by what he said.
I am more concerned about what Trump hints at/lies about, a relationship or not with Putin, his non existent tax returns and what he will do with his businesses if elected. He has no policies, no discernable plans besides “trust me” and build a wall and keep Muslims out.
He does not have an economic policy. Has he talked about social security in a meaningful way?
Paid family leave? Replacement for Obama Care?
If they were to replace Trump, his supporters, not the sanest bunch would revolt. Do they really think they would support a forced candidate?
Republicans created the atmosphere for A trump candidicy.
14They are finally realizing they have no control over him. Why it took them so long for something so obvious to the rest of us is beyond me.
Democrats need to stay strong and vote like our lives depended on it!
I can smell the RNC flop sweat from here! Yes, they may have a written regulation regarding a quitter nominee, but do they have the guts to follow through! Hence the panic at that creamy colored office building a stone’s throw from the Longworth House Office Building. They are spending time trying to figure out how to present this “resolved” mess to the public and yes, they are very aware of what some of the Trumpites might actually do. Like I said. Flop sweat.
15I don’t want Scumpf to drop out. Let him stay in it and be completely humiliated. He’s only partially humiliated now. I think he’s mostly destroyed his “brand” through this experience. He’s exposed his mental incapacity, duplicitous nature, and generally unpleasant self.
Of course there will always be those whose mental capacity is similarly questionable who will worship him.
16Rhea’s right. He can’t be great again because he’s never been great. He’s always been a thin-skinned, trash-talking, mysogynistic, racist braggart with a fourth-grade vocabulary who insults people who dare to call him down on ridiculous claims or errors he makes. He has no knowledge of history and thinks Putin will be our friend. His campaign manager was recently helping out the Russian-leaning Ukrainian leader. How much worse does he have to get to convince the snacilbupeR to vote for ABT (Anybody But Trump)?
17Was the sign made in China?
18The big worry is that the Independent party siphons away enough votes to throw the election into the House. That would be a catastrophe.
19George Will thinks Scumpf is hiding his tax returns because they’ll show his close financial relationship with Pooooootin. Will also believes Puketin is holding more hacked emails for an October Surprise. That part makes me feel a little sick.
20Does anyone really think Trump would go quietly if the RNC did dump him?
21Never was great to begin with, can’t ever be great.
22Maybe “Make Me Great Again” is just as phony as the original phrase. Maybe?
23Well, allegedly the reservations at his facilities – hotels, golf courses, etc. – are down 15%. Hit him in the cashflow long enough, take his portfolio value down, he’ll squeal like a stuck hog. Now that will be fun to watch.
No one will want to do a “naming deal” with Trump – anywhere in the world.
Couldn’t happen to a more deserving chump.
