Pistol Pete Shoots Off His Mouth Again
You guys remember Texas Congressvarmint Pistol Pete Sessions who said did not say that he couldn’t stand to look at President Obama?
Well, he’s got another doozy.
He’s chairman of the House Rules Committee. But when asked about his job, he reminded us all what he really wants to accomplish.
“Everything we do in this body should be about messaging to win back the Senate,” Sessions said. “That’s it. If you don’t want Benghazis to happen or you want an investigation for Benghazi, if you want an investigation on the IRS as opposed to the excuses that [Senate Majority Leader] Harry Reid [D-Nev.] is all about, if you do not like what’s happening at the [National Security Agency], then you gain the Senate.”
Holy crap.
Screw America – Republicans want the Senate.
I guess they’ve given up on ever getting the presidency again.
Sessions is as worthless as a four card flush.

This is the kind of jerkwad Mark Twain was talking about when he said that some people seemed to think that being a citizen of the Republican party was patriotism; Mark preferred to be a citizen of the United States.
3People who say things like that should not be allowed to wear a United States flag pin on their lapel. They should show their true allegiance and wear a Republican Elephant pin. And if they really want to be honest, they should wear that elephant pin upside down.

Remember trading arms for hostages with Iran before he was elected and holding up their release until after the elction so Carter wouldn’t get a bounce in the polls? Illegal wars in Central America? Contras?Selling weapons to Iran for cash and financing wars with the proceeds against the express will of the Congress(Boland Amendment)? The list goes on forever.

Even if Sessions at heart is smarter and more patriotic than that, he’s a political survivor who spouts small ideas and goals over statesmanship – and venality over fidelity. He understands his ignorant, bigoted core constituency well enough to tell them what they expect to hear. It’s his key to retaining that cushy, high-paid seat in Congress. There are no high principles in this man’s makeup; only greed.

16Heard this from a lifelong Republican. Dems recover quicker, better and more wholesomely than Republicans do when they lose. And he was right! I’ll never forget what happened to Newt G. when he was Speaker and predicted a massive landslide in an election. It turned out so wrong it was actually comical (for me, anyway). The radio talk shows were over-run with scathing criticism of Newtie from his own Right Wingers for days! Could not get over how they screamed for his very life. No wonder he gave up his seat and ran for his life!
