Payback’s a Rich
Less than two weeks after the House approved the tax revision, Chales Koch and his wife donated almost half a million dollars to Paul Ryan’s joint fundraising committee.
Less than two weeks.
Pay off is not only large, it’s fast.
(Click the little one to see the big one.)
In June, mega-donors in the Koch political network had threatened to withhold contributions to GOP members of Congress unless they repealed Obamacare and passed tax reform.
Well, a large shout of glee came from Republicans members of congress as they sold their souls.
Thanks to Deb for the heads up.
Why am I limited on the amount I may donate to a political candidate’s re-election committee, but the Kochs are not?
1We knew what he was, now we know his price too.
2It’s not just thirty pieces of silver anymore. The price has gone up.
@Opinionated Hussy: because nets are designed to catch the little ones and let the big ones rip on through.
Sorry for mixing metaphors.
3That’s some good campaign material for Randy Bryce!
4Wisconsin is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Koch Industries. That half-mil is just Paulie’s bonus for 2017.
I wish someone would drive all these thieving arseholes into the ground and break them off at the neck.
5I hate everyone involved in that purchase.
6Republicans have no souls to sell. No morals to go against. They are bereft of any and all human decency. They scream about being “such good Christians”. Then break any and all commandments.
7We must, for democracy, see as many defeated as possible.
Actually Mike, $500,000 is far above Lyin’ Ryan’s usual asking price. I’m afraid the Evil Kochs may have ruined the market for congresscritters.
