Former FBI Director Robert Mueller has been named by the DOJ as special counsel in charge of the entire Russia investigation.

Here ya go.

Asked about Attorney General Jeff Sessions making a statement that pot was only “slightly less awful” than heroine, Willie came up with a stroke of genius – as Willie often does.

“I wonder if he’s tried both of them,” responded Nelson. “I don’t think you can really make a statement like that unless you tried it all. So I’d like to suggest to Jeff to try it and then let me know later if he thinks he’s still telling the truth!”

Willie also says that all those “Willie Nelson for President” bumper stickers gave him the thought that maybe he would … “I came close a couple times,” he said. “And then I sobered up.”

You know how when sometimes when you travel you wake up in the morning in a hotel room and wonder for a couple of seconds where you are and where’s your stuff and what’s that thing over in the corner?  I feel that way all the time now.

There are people out there really confusing me.  Where the hell is their hotel room if they think anybody is sabotaging Donald Trump except Donald Trump?

A senior official in the Trump administration, who previously worked on the president’s campaign, offered a candid and brief assessment of the fallout from that string of bad press: “I don’t see how Trump isn’t completely f***ed.”

I’m  old enough to remember in detail the Watergate scandal that ended in Richard Nixon’s abrupt resignation from the presidency in 1974.  Welp, it looks like we’re going that way yet again.

Did you see that story on MSM this morning about how Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s security detail attacked protestors across from the Turkish embassy in Washington?  Me neither.  If there is any coverage at all, it’s about how “violence” broke out a protest yesterday.  Watch this video:

The guys in black suits are Erdoğan’s security detail.  The protestors are across the street.  Apparently forgetting that they were in the US, Erdoğan’s goons attacked the protestors, violently punching and kicking them.  DC police were caught completely off guard, and had to hustle to stop the attack.  We understand that none of the black suit guys were arrested, just shuffled back to their side of the street.

This is what happens when the President of the United States lends credibility to an authoritarian despot by inviting him to visit in the WH.  This can’t end soon enough.
