This morning, Donald Trump tweeted:

First of all, the Diversity Visa was part of Immigration Act of 1990 – passed by the Senate with a bipartisan 89-8 vote – signed by Daddy Bush. The Senator from New York was Republican Al D’Amato. Schumer wasn’t elected until 1999.
Today at her press conference Sarah Huckybooboo denied that Trump ever blamed Schumer.
She also flat lied about people under this program not having to go through vetting.
Then for the trifecta of stoopid, she tried to say that Trump really didn’t say that the United States justice system was defective. Exact quote:
We need quick justice and we need strong justice — much quicker and much stronger than we have right now. Because what we have right now is a joke and it’s a laughingstock.
Sarah says he didn’t mean that – he was just frustrated.
Get control, dude. The Founding Fathers also grow frustrated that a man who has never read the constitution and could not name even one Supreme Court case would trash their work.
Now I am certain that Trump has heard the words “laughingstock” and “a joke” quite a lot recently but they weren’t about the American judicial system. Some guy who is illiterate and can’t name three synonyms for “beautiful” doesn’t get to crack wise about the rule of law.
I can’t wait until this guy is out of there!

Folks in Texas know for a damn fact that our Lt. Governor and former talk show radio host, Dan Patrick, is so far radical right that that he smashed into the Steve Bannon wall years ago. He is an ardent Donald Trump supporter. I mean, to the point that it’s kind of heterosexually embarrassing. By the way, Dan Patrick is his stage name. His real name is Dannie Goeb.
Bad news: he reproduced himself. His son, Ryan Patrick – who uses his dad’s stage name – went to law school. He worked in the DA’s office for a number of years. In 2012, Rick Perry appointed him to an empty district judgeship in Harris County. In the 2016 election, he was beat, badly. He did not distinguish himself in either job.
Well, Trump is appointing Ryan Patrick as US Attorney of the Southern District.
If confirmed by the U.S. Senate, Patrick will become the top federal prosecutor in one of the busiest districts in the country. The Southern District, which includes Houston, Galveston and Corpus Christi, represents 43 counties, 8.3 million people and 44,000 square miles of the Lone Star State.
I can no evidence that he has ever practiced law in a federal court. He says that doesn’t matter because the job is mainly administrative. Oh hell no. If you don’t know what your office is supposed to be doing, how the hell can you administer it?
But, he’s cute as the dickens an he’s Dan Patrick’s son. I guess they couldn’t find him a job as ambassador.

Okay, come to find out the bank where Paul Manafort hid his $17 million from the Russians is kinda kinky.

Wilbur
It’s the bank of Cyprus. Wilbur Ross, Trump’s Commerce Secretary, sits on the board of that bank. He is an officer at that bank. In 2014 he bought a stake in that bank.
I mean, think about this – how many damn banks are there in the world? What are the odds….
Yeah, Manafort picked the swamp bank.
And in that swamp, Wilbur Ross is the creature from the black lagoon. Forbes tried like the dickens to find out where a missing $2 billion was, but Wilbur would only say that it was put into trusts and was not very forthcoming about who had those trusts.
And they want to lock Hillary up. Honey, I am rolling my eyes so far back in my head that I am checking out my own butt.
Thanks to SGray for the heads up.

The Texas congressvarmint who almost since-handedly destroyed every banking regulation we got under Obama, is now ready to join Corporate America and reap his rewards while he can.
The powerful chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, U.S. Rep. Jeb Hensarling, a Dallas Republican, announced his retirement from Congress on Tuesday afternoon. He is currently serving his eighth term in the House.
I guess they are saving the fact that he’s evil as hell and never met a puppy he didn’t kick for his obituary.
It’s a strong GOP district, but I am told that the Democrats have a good candidate in Dan Wood. Miracles can happen, my friends, and nobody knows what the hell it’s gonna be like in a year.
I am just tickled pink to get rid of Jeb.

CNN MONEY is reporting that things aren’t hunky dory over at Fox News.
Some employees at Fox News were left embarrassed and humiliated by their network’s coverage of the latest revelations in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian election meddling, according to conversations CNN had with several individuals placed throughout the network.
“I’m watching now and screaming,” one Fox News personality said in a text message to CNN as the person watched their network’s coverage. “I want to quit.”
Downside: Fox is bad, it’s not going to change, and we’re stuck with them.
Upside: Some people at Fox recognize that.
