Wait, Wait!

Yesterday, Paul Ryan, who was in Beverly Hills, California, at the annual Milken Institute Global Conference, warned of some real dire stuff.

Should Republicans lose control of either the House or Senate, “you’ll have gridlock, you’ll have subpoenas,” with the whole legislative system “shutting down,” Ryan said.

Mr. Ryan, please allow me to introduce you to Devin Nunes.

Second, isn’t that exactly what Trump campaigned on.  I mean, hell cowboy, that was the one campaign promise he kept.

Third, that doesn’t seem to be a such a bad idea considering Trump continues to select our judicial system with all the intelligence and selectivity that he used for every damn cabinet member.

Fourth, oh hell, there’s about twenty reasons but I’ve gotta stop what I’m doing just like everybody else in DeeCee to see what the hell Trump’s tweeting about now.

Holy Damn Cow

I certainly hope that Rudy Giuliani is working pro bono.

I can’t imagine anyone setting themselves on fire right there on Sean Hannity and getting paid for it.

I am wondering if Fox News is bringing down Trump for us.

Full Lawyer Employment Act

Bubba asked, “When do you think it’ll my turn to have to represent Trump?  Surely they’re spreading this painful deed around.”

Hey, at least his new lawyer can spell impeachment.

And then there’s Rudy, the only lawyer actually enjoying this.

Figure This One Out

As you know, the entire staff of Dairy Queen, headed by Alfredo, likes to keep an eye on PACs.

He found a stumper today.

No, I have never heard of the Noocratic Party, and neither has Alfredo or any of his staff – and they are party cowboys, they’ll lasso any party they see.

So, I rooted around and found the Google machine.  It wasn’t much help because it kept asking me “Do you mean the Democratic Party?”  No, I don’t.

There were a few clues, but even when you read them, they ain’t generally helpful.

There’s this one.

The Noocratic Movement is a political orginazation with no foreseeable ambition other than raising awareness of our philosophy. Nous is a state of being or inteliigence, but it can also mean the general public or us. Our party accepts both ideas. In life there are always the smart and the general public and who shall lead and who shall follow you ask? Well the aristocracy not of wealth, family, friends or age but the aristocracy of the wise. The Noocrats will be Imperial-Seers while the Proles will be the general public. Both are equally vital to our society, for after all what is man with brain or hand?

Going inactive for 7 weeks!

I’m pretty sure that’s English, but I don’t understand it.  Plus, when you can’t spell the word intelligence, you probably don’t have any.

And this one.

To put it quite simply to you simpletons, we believe that govrerment is meant to be run by the smart. We are federalists of the highest kind, we believe that freedom is only possible through capitalism. Lastly, the we are HUGE PEACE LOVERS!!!! but the way to get peace is through insance all out war.

They said smart, not good spellers.  Apparently, one doesn’t have much to do with the other.

I looked up where they are located in Houston, and it seems to be a fairly nice apartment complex on the north end of town.  It seems like maybe it’s kinda like that scientology stuff.

So, scout around when you have some free time and see if you can find anything.  Alfredo promises to keep an eye on them from his end, just because we like weirdness.

Beto!

May 02, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself

Beto O’Rourke is from El Paso and he’s closed in at a three point difference.

Beto is young, lean, tall, and powerful easy on the eyes.  He’s smart, comfortable in his own skin, and goes for authentic instead of the stilted speech patterns of Ted Cruz, college debater.

Recently Cruz accused Beto of using a nickname so he sounds “more Hispanic.”  That’s a tad off-center coming from a man whose name is Rafael but goes by Ted. Beto is a common nickname for kids named Robert.

So, to counter Cruz, Beto challenged him to 6 debates, two of them in Spanish.  Cruz had to admit that he doesn’t speak Spanish very well but “I understand it all,” which is what people say when they don’t understand it worth a flip and the only Spanish they speak they learned from the menu at El Monterey.

I’m holding out some hope for this kid.  I saw him speak at the little town of Wharton, when 30 people showed up at 8:00 am in the freezing rain to stand under a covered but open pavilion to hear him speak and answer questions.  He gave the same speech later in the day to a crowd of 400 in Bryan.

He’s raised more money than Cruz even though he doesn’t accept PAC money.

I think there’s hope.

Holy Moly, Breaking all the Rules

Brian Kemp is running for Governor of Georgia.  Since they wouldn’t let him kill something on teevee for a political ad, he did the next best thing.

I grew up in a household that owned a shotgun.  We lived in a rural area and you’ll notice that I said “a” shotgun, not an armory like Brian Kemp has.  I mean, it never entered our minds that we’ll have to fight a war against Armenia all on our own.  I think probably ole Brian worries about that a lot.

When time came for me to learn how to use the shotgun, my daddy told me the Number One Rule: you never point a shotgun at someone unless you’re fixing to pull the trigger.

I wish he’d have taught Brian that before Brian wants all of Georgia to begin pointing shotguns at people as a joke.

Damn fool.
