The DNC is meeting this weekend in Chicago.  Something good came out of it.

The Democratic National Committee voted overwhelmingly on Saturday to limit the role of superdelegates in choosing the party’s presidential nominee, moving to heal internal divisions that emerged during the bitter 2016 primaries.

The reform, adopted by DNC members at their summer meeting in Chicago, will bar superdelegates – lawmakers, former presidents and other party dignitaries – from voting during the first ballot of the nominating process.

Some delegates voted against it, saying “it would disenfranchise party leaders.” And they said that like it’s a bad thing.  I think that’s the whole point. Party bosses have missed the boat and it’s time to return the party to the people.

Well done, DNC. Now quit sending me three damn emails a day asking for money.

A former Trump World Tower doorman who says he has knowledge of an alleged affair President Donald Trump had with an ex-housekeeper, which resulted in a child, is now able to talk about a contract he entered with American Media Inc. that had prohibited him from discussing the matter with anyone, according to his attorney.

Ask yourself: If it wasn’t true, why did Trump have Pecker buy the story?

But, Trump has an answer.

Trump, listen up little buddy, I’m no lawyer or media mogul, but you getting involved seems to be the whole problem. I don’t think more of the problem is gonna make the problem any better.  But, that’s just a guess on my part.

Pecker and Trump

Well, come to find out the National Inquirer’s publisher David Pecker has flipped on Trump.  Pecker was the guy who bought exclusive rights to the stories about Trump’s mistresses and then never published them.

According to a new report from Vanity Fair’s Gabriel Sherman, however, Pecker has now been granted legal immunity to spill dirt to investigators about allegedly illegal payments the president made to past mistresses during the 2016 presidential campaign.

It is said that Pecker will collaborate Cohen’s story about the illegal campaign contributions to cover up Trump’s hotsy totsy activities.

Here’s the fun part: one of Trumps unnamed allies is quoted: “Holy sh*t, I thought Pecker would be the last one to turn,” the Trump ally said.

Nah, that would be Melania.

Okay, so last night I was watching the teevee and some damn Republican fool on CNN said that Manafort had been exonerated on ten counts, like that meant he was pure as the driven snow.

Anderson Cooper said that a deadlocked did not mean exonerated.

But, y’all, it’s worse than that.
