“Resistance is not futile.” A great read from Stephanie Wilkinson, the owner of the Red Hen Restaurant who asked Sarah Sanders to leave.
Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
It seems so perfect on so many levels that an old biddy such as Sarah Chuck-a-Load Sandbag would be invited to leave a restaurant named the Red Hen. Normally would be advocating for civility, but these are not normal times. IQ4.5 and his maladministration scuttled the good ship Civility while Sarah was manning the bilge pumps.
However, the death threats against the owner and her staff need to be taken seriously. Those aren’t “pranks,” it’s not “free speech,” and we have learned all too painfully where stochastic terrorism leads with this maladministration.
1red hen you’re the best.
2Agree with Jane & PMK- in a population of 350,000,000, and @ six standard deviations* from rational thinking, there’s still probably 10,000 “citizens” ready to shoot up a pizza parlor.
*statistically, waaaay out there.
3I think the public is fed up with the disgusting, chaotic behavior and lies of Trump and his sycophants. I think public contempt is OK, but NOT with violence.
4Wish you would have printed it….WaPo won’t let me read it unless I subscribe……
5As an aside the thuglicans have finished their charade of holding jr. responsible for his perjury and have agreed to a “deal’ that would limit scope and time for testimony.
6I assume the D’s were frozen out of this surrender negoitations.
So the d’s should proceed on questioning as if the “deal” does not exist since they are not part of it.
This is analgous to your disgrace cruz doing the same thing to blow up a “deal” between Senate leaders because he did not sign off on it and mcconnell defend him for that.
Make jr either admit that he committed perjury ( and he is stupid and arrogant enough to do that) or on tv take the fifth.
Can one be selective as to what questions you can choose not to answer?
Or, have I remember reading someplace, that a witness, wishing to claim protection befind the fifth amendment, can either answer no questions or they have to answer all of the questions.
Is that accurate?
ps
7the reasoning behind the idea that a witness, wishing to claim protection behind the fifth amendment, can either answer no questions or they have to answer all of the questions, is to prevent a witness just answering questions from “friendly” questioners and stone walling opposition questions.
Mongrels in the DC area still confuse the rather fancy Red Hen in DC with this one. I tried to correct them, but they don’t fancy fact. I expect they would be out of place in either restaurant.

9A great read.
10A reminder that “they” don’t completely control the conversation.
No matter how much that want us to believe they do
Two years from now Sarah Sanders will be out of a job and the public eye, but the “little restaurant that could” will still be in business and putting up a plaque commemorating its stand for for only serving the country’s best people.
11Jane and PKM, do you realize that the “old biddy” is only 36 – about 6 years older than AOC? Lying not only blackens your soul, it evidently ages you, too. Explains why Kellyanne looks 155. Sarah should reach that look in a couple of years.
12Cheryl@12, age is a confusing thing with the snocilbupeR as are many things. You say Chuck-a-Load Sandbag is “only” 36, while the Cons in the House and Senate refer to the 40+ elder Drumpf ‘children’ as if they were not 12 ergo not responsible for their own actions. Yeah, children. While other peoples’ children go off to war at 18.
Michelle Fox nailed it at the WHCD: “Like, what’s Uncle Tom but for white women who disappoint other white women?” https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=michelle+fox+whcd+speech&view=detail&mid=ADD84878268D9D761011ADD84878268D9D761011&FORM=VIRE
13Do they deliver?
14Thank you, Jaime. I had the same issue as Bonnie.
