On a Personal Note
One of my personal Texas heroes, Bob Armstrong, picked Texas Independence Day to go to that great rodeo in the sky.
Bob will be missed, but we were all blessed to have him.
Happy Trails, Bob.

Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Sorry to hear of your loss, J.J. It’s so hard to lose the good and the great.
1Deepest condolences to you,JJ and Mr Armstrong’s family.
2One of the good guys. I’m sorry for your loss and ours, and of course my sympathy to his family and friends.
3I’m sorry he died too but he sure was honored properly to have a dip named in his honor since queso is one of THE Texas foods, best I can tell. Taco meat, queso, sour cream and guacamole. I had some the other day and ate myself silly. Now we can think of a great peace maker and true environmentalist every time we eat it.
4Condolences.
5I’m so sorry for your loss. The loss of a good and honest man is a loss to everyone.
6Juanita Jean, our condolences to you and Bob’s family. May his family and friends find strength that he was known as being a man of integrity.
7JJ,
Heartfelt sympathy to you, and to the family and friends of Mr. Armstrong.
8How wonderful for all who were privileged to know such a lovely man. My condolences to all.
9Here’s to Bob Armstrong:
