Poor Paul Ryan gave a speech at the AARP today and seemed to keep forgetting things. You know, like the fact that seniors hate him and his desire to put them on an iceberg and float them out to sea.
AARP members boo Ryan, but only because it’s illegal to throw things at him.

9Katherine, I’m eligible to become a retired Texas public school teacher in January ’14. I plan to become as much of a blue-haired, kiss-my-blue-butt activist as possible, poll watching and helping get out the vote.

11Yeah, I’m a member of AARP, and I don’t need Paul Ryan to tell me anything at all. I worked for that Medicare and Social Security, and when I say worked, I really mean it. As my dear mother used to say, “I might be a little round-shouldered, but I’m not stoopid.”
12Paul Ryan obviously doesn’t know, or care, that AARP keeps its members pretty well informed (by all types of media) e-mail, magazines, newspapers, on issues that affect seniors.
We know who wants to do what with Medicare and Social Security.
He got off pretty easy…… with just “boos”.
13And I saw on the TV that a bunch of the folks just upped and walked out on Ryan! Made me proud!!
