Okay, So What Would Happen To You If You Said This?
In another case of Republican congressvarmints being above the law, take of look at this Tea Party hack from New York who is being investigated for taking illegal campaign contributions.

So that behavior is now justified?
I am telling you – those people are thugs and bullies. If he’s not arrested for a terroristic threat of serious bodily injury, then next week you’ll find Republicans standing outside of voting booths making threats.
I hate these people. Lord help me, I do.
This is all right behavior from the right. From the left it is an impeachable offense. Yeah, that’s the way they look at it.
1And this great quote from that paragon of journalism, the NY Post “A former Grimm staffer told The Post that the congressman was a hothead who takes his rages out on journalists. “Grimm has anger issues,” the staffer said. “This is not the first time he’s tried to intimidate a reporter.””
Still I’d trade him for Stockman and a nice Blue Tick-Plott puppy.
2If he had a “D” after his name, he would have been crucified.
3Those threats were recorded on video and should be actionable. The poor young reporter doesn’t want to pursue it at this time (he’s scared of retribution) but this is such a telling scenario. It may come back to bite the congressman in the a$$ when he’s running for reelection.
4He’s just been wrapped up in watching the BBC House of Cards and thinks F. U. knew how to properly handle reporters.
5reporter screded up. should have said: you and who else you wimp! it would have been the end of a political creer.
6I guess it was kind of nice of Grimm to take a few moments off from kicking the middle class around….
7In the UK, this guy’s political career would be over by now…in fact he would probably be writing his resignation letter with several party leaders standing over him making sure he wrote it correctly. Sadly, it seems that being an out-of-control juvenile psycho here is regarded by many people as one of “dynamic”, “no-nonsense”, “honest” etc.
8@Graham: This “he would probably be writing his resignation letter with several party leaders standing over him making sure he wrote it correctly.” I would like to see transplanted to American politics from the UK. And the concept of a “loyal” opposition. That we have not seen in America since at least 1968.
9If Grimm is a self-confessed hothead who takes his rages out on other people, does that make him a Christie wannabe?
10Kind of funny though, when the congressman threatened to through the reporter off the balcony, on camera, he winds up throwing his own career off the balcony.
11Disgusting. (Just erased what I really wanted to say.) But perhaps dear Grimm will come to Texas for some campaign or other and I can say it then.
12But…..but….he can’t be thug. He’s WHITE. (Did I just say that???)
13So.
If this were recorded in a “Stand your ground” state, would that’ve constituted an actionable threat? Thugs may get more than they bargained for from their vigilante system. (Oh wait, thats only if they use a firearm, right? Does it require a kill?)
14What’s he so mad about? or if he’s so mad, he needs to go on home.
15Don’t we teach children that if someone makes you mad, you should walk away?
16Well, Grimm talked to the reporter and apologized … twice. The first one was kind of a blowback on the initial set-to; the second one was a bit more contrite and Scotto accepted his apology.
17The jackwagon said he didn’t have time to take the question… but he had time to come back and make obscene threats.
Reminds of the moron drivers who are in such a hurry, but if they think you disrespected them, they will take time to play games and risk your life doing it.
18I’m just grateful that Grimm didn’t have a gun handy.
