Oh No, He Just Can’t Shuddup
Okay, when I saw this headline about Dan Patrick …
… I thought to myself, “He has walked-back so many things that, hopefully, he’s finally crossed the border into New Mexico.”
Not to be.
It’s not so much of a walk-back as a Look At Me I Saw Dead Bodies. I swear to the Good Lord above that Dan Patrick holds the land speed record for going between vicious hater to victim in .04 seconds.

Patrick was not the only person at the hospital that night. None of the rest of them immediately started bloviating to the worst instincts of those who want to destroy America. For example, Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings, a proud Texas Democrat, was at the hospital and instead of tweeting, he called for a prayer vigil.
So, then Patrick shoved people aside to be on the front row of that prayer vigil.
Either you have what it takes to be a leader or you don’t. Mike Rollins has it. Dan Patrick doesn’t.
Sumbitch. He’s a worthless sumbitch.
The only time Patrick opens his mouth is to swap feet.
1I don’t think that Patrick went from vicious hater to victim in .04 seconds. Being a vicious hater is largely what enables him to pose as a victim full-time. I mean, everyone knows that all Hispanics, women, gays, etc., are out to attack rich, aging white men 100% of the time.
2Shall we take up a collection to buy Patrick some TP to wipe his mouth? It will take more than 1 roll I think.
3Dan opens his mouth proving he’s qualified to be a pee-can in the corner of a tent. Ship him to AZ where Sheriff Joe has the perfect job for him.
4Please do not send him to Kansas. We have a superabundance of worthless sumbitches.
5I don’t need more ugly in my life so I didn’t watch the video, but y’all are doing a real good job of commenting on it.
6“Patrick shoved people aside to be on the front row”
I have a feeling if Dan Patrick was at the Last Supper he’d shove Peter and Paul out the way if it meant getting a better seat.
7I’d like to smack all that voted for him!
8While he didn’t shoot (in which case he might be dead), one protester who did arrive with a legal open carry tuned in to the news to see his face on the screen above the caption “Suspected accomplice”. Dan, just don’t, just don’t.
9Dale Hansen, Dallas area sportscaster, once again had a heartfelt unplugged segment in which he calls our lieutenant governor a fool. Certainly worth a look/listen.

Wingnuts made this and other beds and come to find out they don’t like sleeping in it. Too dangerous.
11Be nice to be rid of him and his crappy radio station.
12NOOOOOO! We already have enough RWNJ in New Mexico. He is Yours!
13Rick, this rotten tomato would shove Jesus aside!
14In the immortal words of the Sport’s guy in Dallas.
“Dan Patrick……is a fool.”
nailed it.
15I was going to say something pithy, but then I thought ‘why?’. Dan Patrick is what dairy farmers step over when they walk their fields…
Good for roses, though. Just sayin…
16You can tell so much by how a person reacts when faced with a crisis.
Dan Patrick is not a nice person. He spoke the next day. Plenty of time to get a grip and improve, not inflame the situation.
I hope the police told him to “shut up”!
And was he really in charge? He made that statement. Where was the governor?
17Danny boy looks like a reversed skunk.
18What’s the ribbon around Patrick’s neck-an Olympic medal for pushing people out of the way so he can be photographed at important events?
19We’ve got the big mouthed bully here in NJ as governor. Just this past week he vetoed a bill to fund open space which is a rare commodity in this state.
The Sierra Club presented him with a petition of about 140,000 signatures telling him he is a creep in a nice way. He counted those numbers and retracted the veto. I hope Trump picks him for VP because I know he won’t be able to deliver New Jersey for his puppet master. Numbers don’t lie and in my marketing days we learned that one signature usually represents 25 people who didn’t sign. Somebody probably put a calculator in his chubby little hands.
And furthermore when the state was clobbered by hurricane Sandy that evil bully was hugging and slobbering over President Obama in his creepy way. In an about face during his disastrous presidential campaign he called the President a “feckless coward”. I am ashamed to even acknowledge that I live in this state at times.
20One more reason I’m glad I live thousands of miles from RWNJ like Dan Patrick. As for what to do with him, I heard of a volcano that will accept a non virgin sacrifice. Just thinking…
21epo … look at that picture and you’ll see yellow ribbons around the necks of the folks standing behind him. There is some significance with so many wearing them but what it is, I’m not sure!!
22Why didn’t dan have his gun? He could have shot that off instead of his mouth
23Sandy @ 10, thanks for sharing. I noticed in particular that the worthless sumbitch was not mentioned by his name. Excellent.

Apparently the ribbons symbolize interfaith prayer/unity. Why Patrick has one is beyond my comprehension.
25Several things here: I am glad the open carry guy abstained, but all of good guys with a gun fled. So much for being “good guys”. Second, Trump was rightfully turned away when he tried to pose with police at NYC headquarters for his “statement”.
26Bet there were more filled britches than in a hospital nursery.
27I am reminded of the famous words of Ann Richards (Geez, I miss her!) of which I paraphrase here:
‘He can’t help it. He was born with a conservative spoon in his mouth.’
And, I might add, he’s been choking on it ever since…
28Sandy, I saw that yesterday; it’s priceless. Anybody here who hasn’t seen it should.
29Thanks, Sandy, for the link. Dale Hansen nailed it. It’s sad that a sportscaster is not only far more eloquent than the elected lieutenant governor of Texas – he’s wiser, as well.
30Thanks, Sandy. One of the most extraordinary commentaries I’ve ever heard.
31Jean Kuhn: Keep the faith. Down hear in Texas, a lot of us Cringe every time one of our brethren like Dan Patrick, Greg Abbott, Rick Perry, and let’s not forget George W. Bush open their pie holes. But we’ve also got Willie Nelson, Wendy Davis, and Don Henley. You’ve got Jon bon Jovi, Jon Stewart, and Bruce Springsteen. All is not lost, even if sometimes it seems that way.
32And yeah Anne Richards and Molly Ivins are sorely missed.
Dan Patrick is the direct result of ignorant voters in Texas–they go to the polls like Robots –not knowing what the R button truly stands for (check out the Texas Republican Party Platform a document full of hatred and stupidity) nor understanding the powerful position of the Lt. Governor in Texas–it is truly frightening to see so many people being blindly led by that label of hate and ignorance–“I only vote for the R’s as they represent my values”–Huh??? May be some day people will realize he is not acting on their behalf and they turn their backs on him.
33Why should we expect anything better out of this insect of a man? Patrick’s made himself a multi-millionaire by pimping himself out to the racist hyper-white segment of the Texas population, first as a AM hate radio owner and spokesman, then as a knuckle-dragging politico. He’s never going to change is ways; he’s making too much money at it. I will rejoice at any misfortunes he brings upon himself.
34“Chiclets Gum” ought to stop supplying Patrick with his front teeth!
35Republican Party=pond scum depository.
36Dale Hansen for King!
It’s so good to hear real human decency at a time like this. Hansen admits his short comings and calls that a$$hole a fool.
37Is it just me or did Dale Hansen’s delivery in that piece calling “Oilcan Harry” Dan Patrick a fool sound a lot like the great Andy Rooney? One more for Texas, boys and girls. I’ll straighten my crooked ballcap back up. Thanks Dale. And thanks Sandy.
38Poor Dan Patrick doesn’t know but I’ll remind the rest of us:
39Karma never forgets an address.
Ah luv yew, JJ, but I’m glad I left Texas, and I’m never returning. Not in this lifetime, anyway. Not even to Austin.
40Dale Hansen is undoubtedly a better sportscaster than that moron Patrick was, too. I couldn’t abide him then, when he was on 11/KHOU! He’s just a damned loudmouthed idiot. Grrrr! Acting governor indeed!
41Preach, Juanita Jean! I agree 100%.
42Just think, Texas, could have had Wendy Davis and Leticia Van de Putte. But no, the damn fools that voted for the damn fools were swayed by hot button emotional issues that are against their self interests. To borrow from that sterling example of presidential statesmanship – Is our adults finally learning?
43Glad I don’t live in Texas. Pennsylvania is bad enough.
44RA, Texas doesn’t have Wendy and Leticia because Dems couldn’t be bothered to vote. Now, let’s see if we can get them off their asses this year, m’kay?
