Oh Missouri? Firm Yet?

Congressional Republicans didn’t know how to repeal Obamacare.  Lord knows they get extra points for trying, though.

Manly Mike Moon

Along comes Missouri Republican State Rep. Mike Moon.  Mr. Moon has a new tactic to try to repeal Obamacare.

A resolution now pending in the Missouri House, calling on the state’s congressional delegation to “endeavor with `manly firmness’ and resolve to totally and completely repeal the Affordable Care Act . . . ”

Moon says that the “manly firmness” line comes from the Declaration of Independence.  Funny how that stuck out in Moon’s mind.

Apparently, no one took the shovel away from Moon so he kept digging.

“It is just like going to war,” Moon told the Columbia Tribune. “You want a soldier to fight like a man. If a woman is in the trenches, you want them to fight like a man, too.

“It was not meant to downplay their womanhood at all,” he added. “We just want them to know, every man and lady who is representing us, that we are demanding, as citizens of Missouri, that Obamacare be repealed and make it clear we don’t want a replacement.”

Honey, the hole he dug is so deep that you can hear Chinese people talking on the other end.

I have been told that they’re having a ball with it on Twitter but I’m afraid to look.  But, someone sent me Missouri Senator Clair McCaskill’s tweet.

She also added that there’s nothing manly about taking away health care from people.

Thanks to Mike for the heads up.

He was also on arsenic (maybe for a STD) along with his proprhyria. The STD makes sense in light of his children’s physical issues, for Beethoven’s parents were reputed to have been syphillitic, and all of his siblings were similarly marred, with his late developing deafness the all of the siblings were affected. HRH Georgy boy would/could have had all kinds of mental, emotional and the headaches–woo!—from brain lesions. It would not have been good to be King. The “manly firmness” may have been an insult if the King was older, very foppish, or had ED. There is so much to look at, and all it finally did was bring my attention back to the second amendment and I am starting to get pissed because the framers didn’t say arm yours ers all the way up to paranoia, they said to be a part of a well organized militia—“so manly” so you could fight for the cause with your neighbors—so two weeks a year at maneuvers, 1 weekend a month after “basic”training—for everyone. Then the adults own a rifle—their basic training one. Any extra belong at the shooting club.
That way connection and faith in what we are fighting for. Since we have drones, long range missiles and EMP waves….I don’t see the need for guns held by individual people, so would have an armory. Just the training if done in area groups would be something that would tie you back into community. Because according to the wiki article, they forsaw what is happening with the people who have not internalized what “freedom” means. It’s degrading down to the level of yelling “fire” in a crowded area. It is the a hallmark of their unbalanced Commentary, but seems like a strategy. Our Republic is in danger from the incredible greed of the individual. Civilization is wobbly. That’s the big truth. “Manly Firmness” gone wrongheaded is what we’ve got, an entire house and senate.

Harry, that’s almost impossible to do. You can email me and ask me to do it for you. That’s about it. Sorry.
