Oh Dude, No
I am shocked, shocked I tell you. A Republican State Senator in Vermont has been arrested for forcing women to have sex with him instead of paying for rent.
That news stuns me. There’s Republicans in Vermont?
McAllister allegedly pressured two women to have sex with him, against their will, in place of paying rent, the paper reported. McAllister, who is also a dairy and goat farmer, is said to have suggested to one of the women that she could lower her rent payments if she had sex with Mexican farm workers, officials told the paper.
In addition to the alleged sexual assault of the two women, court documents obtained by the Free Press accuse McAllister of sexually assaulting a third victim, beginning in 2013.
The newspaper says that they don’t know if he’ll resign. I suspect he’s waiting for a standing ovation.
Dairy and goat farmer? He wore out his welcome with those ladies and had to move on to human females?
1Whoreable.
2Now that this has happened the Kochs will be endorsing him for a presidential run. He’s the perfect guy for them. Besides, this is just a war on christianity; he’s a good christian don’tcha know.
3Ah, yes, the moral majority strikes again. He’ll certainly make a valuable political contribution while incarcerated for rape and extortion. Where’s Bernie Sanders when you need him?
4It is difficult to imagine that any sentient being would consent to have sex with Norman H. McAllister.
5“That news stuns me. There’s Republicans in Vermont?” Why sure Miss JJ, every state has a certain amount of perverts/Republicans.
Old Norman better have a signed stack of consent forms from the livestock, or there are more serious charges to his story. Curious laws there in Vermont with ol’ Norm facing possibly 3 charges of sexual assault. We sure could debate that number for starters. But what about his kind pimping heart and sharing a woman with others? Thought all Congressional Republicans, at least in the US Senate, were all astir about human trafficking laws.
6“… suggested to one of the women that she could lower her rent payments if she had sex with Mexican farm workers …” Is this some new republican policy aimed at garnering Latino votes?
7PKM@ #6
If this “Family Values” perv is a dairy farmer, and it sounds as if he was wanting to provide a ‘fringe’ benefit to “Mexican farm workers” (probably while watching), there is a very high probability that those workers are his, working on his own (dairy) farm.
And a very, very high probability that they are illegals. So ICE/La Migra and other LEO groups should be coming down on his farm with everything they have.
Dairy farms are particularly labor intensive, and here in South Texas have always employed numbers of non-documented workers, as they do throughout the country.
8I have seen it myself, when my kids were in 4H/FFA with dairy projects. And also there is a nearby very famous dairy operation (since shut down, although the high quality products are still produced and marketed, just not from a local herd anymore), owned and run by a very prominent far-RW Doctor (I’m sure JJ has heard of him, who is a major kingmaker/financier w/TX Rethug politicians), that employed at least twenty of those type workers onsite.
They are all very cynical hypocrites; some of them, like the example above, sink much lower into depravity.
I’m just surprised that this guy went after women given that he already has goats.
9Also, there are Mexican farm workers in Vermont?
10I didn’t know republicans had sex
11That part about “sex with Mexican farm workers” is why he also got a trafficking charge. I wondered about that part of the original headline I read.
12Wouldn’t want to be a goat on THAT farm.
13The least he could do is look sheepish about the charges but my guess is he figures money and connections will prevent them from getting his goat. Having said that, how poor and intimidated would you have to be to have sex with that old goat (my apologies to goats and older folks everywhere for associating them with this jerk)?
14The Republican theory on undocumented workers is that the more they’re worried about being deported, the less the (often Republican) employer needs to pay them.
I’ve long supported the idea of granting citizenship to any undocumented worker who turned in an employer who knowingly hired that worker at a sub-minimum wage.
15That dude us ugly. I’d rather pay rent.
16You took the “goat” out of context since it is an acronym for greatest of all time.
Nice play on words,Kate Dungan.
17Typical Republican Family Values…
18While his wife was dying from Pancreatitis, he’s negotiating the “Rent” with 3 women workers on his farm…
Slumlord and scumlord rolled up into one.
19Read the fine print. Even if your rental agreement is several pages long, it’s important to always read the fine print. The fee for late rent is bad enough, but I’d hate to see what happens if you try and break the lease.
20Gasp! Yes, there are a few Repubs in VT. From time to time they even send Repubs to the Senate. The last one they sent switched parties and became a Democrat. They even occasionally have Repub governors. Been to VT. Absolutely lovely to look at. Nice people and so forth. Do not ever recall running into this guy. Way glad I didn’t. Taking bets right now that if he goes to trial on all the charges there will be a Repub bunch somewhere that swears his arrest is part of a war on Christianity!
21“…waiting for a standing ovation.” Hahahahahah!
22McAllister looked so familiar, and then I finally remembered. The inside cover fold of King Crimson’s In the Court of the Crimson King. 21st Century Schizoid Man anyone?

2321st Century Schizoid Man, indeed. IOW, the entire Republican party, minus the few remaining Eisenhower Republicans (most of whom are now Democrats).
24OMG … I can’t even begin to imagine … OMG
25I don’t think there is a woman alive who is that desperate.
26Yeah, we have Republicans in Vermont, but they are as visible as the crazy aunt you keep in the atic. We do our best to keep them at bay, however once in a while they do something so outragious it attracts attention, current news for instance, BTW the guy pleaded “not guilty” .
Some of our best stories are based on Republicans, the time they had “Take back Vermont” signs all over the place and the tourists thought they were a clever marketing campaign to bring home Maple syrup etc. And my favorite the story of Fred Tuttle, Republican Senate candidate who voted for Pat Leahy. Best Quote of that story, and there are many was from Fred’s wife who when asked who she was voting for said “Patrick” and when asked why she wasn’t voting for her husband answered with the constant wife’s refrain , “Look at him!” she said to justify her voting choice.
27You really should hear the whole story on how Fred Tuttle beat the carpetbagger from Mass. who tried to get the Republican nomination for Senate. Great story!
Where is the “Moral Majority” and the outrage they should be voicing against him? The Repugs continue to tolerate those with a penchant for such exploitation while continuing to talk about the evils of Liberals and how pious they are??? Hopefully, they will do the right thing and prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law and force him to resign and save the taxpayers money paying his salary. Why can’ they fire this guy.
28L Lester, IOKIYAR, better yet Republican and evangelical; confess, forgiven, no harm no foul.
There have been some notable Democrats paying for their crimes. I have no problem with that. But the “both sides do it” hypocrisy from Republicans and their apologists is getting a little deep.
Here’s just a partial list of the ‘forgiven’ long list of Republican sex offenders….: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389×1709387
29Now that’s what you call Republican Family Values.
