Y’all, this makes me giggle.

.

I know it shouldn’t make me giggle because Graham’s just giving Putin permission to attack the US.  And I know I shouldn’t giggle because nothing would make Lindsey Graham happier than being able to blame that attack on President Obama.  I should absolutely not giggle because this is some serious crap rhetoric.

But, hearing that little girl voice call President Obama weak and indecisive when he can’t even decide what gender he wants to be, is just kinda little girl cute.

Be social and share!

  1. RepubAnon says:

Lindsey’s just worried that Russia under Putin is acting like the US under Presidents Reagan and Pappa Bush. Senator Grahame knows where this leads in about 10 years – a Russia run by Dick Cheneyovich and Shrub Bushov.

  2. Polite Kool Marxist says:

For gohmerts sake Miss Graham, settle for being the next Mrs McCain, because President Obama is happily married to his First Lady. You continually biting our President on the butt will only excite him the way it would a Rottweiler being harassed by a dust mop breed of dog. Yip, yip, yip, …… oh just shut the gohmert up, Lindsey.

BTW Maybe when you Republicans and your owners, the Koch brothers pay for the last two wars, we’ll let you declare war on stupid. We enjoy a good circular firing squad of gohmerts.

  3. maryelle says:

We finally have a President who is thoughtful and careful in his words and actions. The president has signaled very decisively that there will be consequences for Russia’s aggression. But the Republican knee jerk reaction to everything is war, bombs and ATTACK. Let Miss Lindsey spell out exactly what he thinks should be done and wait for the American people to let him know where he can put it. (Sorry Mama)

He thinks having such a weak chin makes him an expert on weak, what a goof.

  5. How terrible to attack our POTUS during this time.
The republicans would be screaming at Democrats if we had done this to a rep pOTUS during a time like this.

It is terrible to use this tragedy to score political points.

  6. Ralph Wiggam says:

I believe the Senator from South Carolina has been getting his advice from Dr. Strangelove.

  7. Polite Kool Marxist says:

I really think the senile Senators from SC and AZ, need to retire and enjoy a cruise together off into the sunset, far far, far away from microphones. And, who better than Ted Recruiter to accompany them to wipe the gohmert dribble from their chins and butts. And, may all their best friends in Congress and the lobbying effort sail with them.

USS Bikini Atoll , all aboard …….

  9. Miss Lindsey is getting the vapors again.

    9
  10. I much prefer a president who does not participate in the shaking of the war sabers, but instead provides a reasoned approach.

    10
  11. Someone should ask Graham, on the record, if he supports a full-scale, boots-on-the-ground U.S. invasion of Ukraine.

    11
  12. Teh Gerg says:

Meh. Goober Graham spews again. Nothing to see here.

    12
  13. Wa Skeptic says:

It’s amazing how the old guys who will never (and never have) put “boots on the ground” are willing to send others to do the dirty work.

    13
  14. Miss Graham – Before we start a new war, Pay for The Other Two Wars and then consider invading! Maybe Miss Graham can tell us about a war tax we could use to pay for wars: old and new.

I would rather have social security and health care than fight a new war. North Korea, Iran, Ukraine – Miss Graham will not be satisfied until we start another war.

    14
  15. gabberflasted says:

Republicans too often forget or fail recognize the logistical needs in war. How would the US get troops or materiel into the Crimea? The Black Sea is ‘virtually’ landlocked from the US forces.
The Crimea was gifted to Ukraine by Kruschev in payment . Google Kruschev/Ukraine/1954.
I don’t know the answer, nor does Linsey/Woolsey.

    15
  16. Ralph, the Senator from SC has been smoking Dr. Strangelove.

    16
  17. maryelle says:

The Russian economy is tanking. Turns out they really can’t afford another war. Putin knows this and can ill afford to ignore it.
Does the word CONSEQUENCES sound familiar, Ms. Graham?

    17
  18. Kate Dungan says:

Don’t fight a war in Russia in the winter.

    18
  19. Steve C says:

Once again, the old white men in the GOP want to send someone else’s children to war. Ask the dolt how we would get the troops there. What a maroon!

    19
  20. Why does anyone ask Miss Lindsey’s opinion on anything…let alone aggression and war?

    20

  22. I have been of the opinion for some time that any principle in a position of decision/influence regarding sending troops into harm’s way short of a Pearl Harbor has to have some real skin in the game; ie, themselves and/or family, relatives, friends in the front lines along with their fortunes all in a non-reimburseable deposit/commitment with the possible exception of those who have served in combat. Yes, I’ve heard the arguments on how impracticable this would be but isn’t that sorta the point? I reference Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler, USMC, 3 Medals of Honor, and his book, “War is a Racket” in support as well as an understanding of our foreign policies way back when and still viable today.

  23. JAKvirginia says:

Time again for that Prayer for the Day: God save me from old, white men…

    23
  24. Jason Linkins on the Huffington Post has said Graham looks like “a jowly Dave Foley.” I concur.

    24
  25. @van59: While Smed Butler was a one-man juggernaut, his escapades “only” resulted in two Medals of Honor.

    25
  26. maryelle says:

John McCain has been ranting that “Nobody respects the United States anymore because of our feckless foreign policy.”
Of course, it can’t be because of our previous “reckless” foreign policy a la the Republicans.
This old white guy really needs to retire.

    26
  27. Zyxomma says:

Oh, that’s Miss Lindsey Graham, not Lohan. OK. #thevapors

  28. Micr, Butler had 2 congressionals and one marine brevet MOH because at the time of the marine medal, officers could not receive the CMOH.
“Once in China, Butler was initially deployed at Tientsin. He took part in the Battle of Tientsin on July 13, 1900. When he saw another Marine officer fall wounded, he climbed out of a trench to rescue him. Butler was then himself shot in the thigh. Another Marine helped him get to safety, but also was shot. Despite his leg wound, Butler assisted the wounded officer to the rear. Four enlisted men would receive the Medal of Honor in the battle. Butler’s commanding officer, Major Littleton W. T. Waller, personally commended him and wrote that “for such reward as you may deem proper the following officers: Lieutenant Smedley D. Butler, for the admirable control of his men in all the fights of the week, for saving a wounded man at the risk of his own life, and under a very severe fire.” Commissioned officers were not then eligible to receive the Medal of Honor, and Butler instead received a promotion to captain by brevet while he recovered in the hospital, two weeks before his nineteenth birthday. Butler was wounded in the chest at Battle of San Tan Pating during the Gaselee Expedition, the bullet reportedly clipping part of Central America out of his tattoo. Because of his record in China, Butler became eligible for the Marine Corps Brevet Medal when it was created in 1921, and was one of only 20 Marines to receive it.”

More importantly is what says about the reasons this country has gone to war since its inception; ie, business, corporations, etc, to make money which ain’t changed to this day.

  29. What I find so despicable and sad about the republicans in Congress who are beating the war drums and wanting President Obama to embroil the U.S. in another military conflict in a foreign nation is that the Constitution gives ONLY them the power to declare war, but none of them has even hinted at calling a special/emergency session of Congress to take a vote on declaring war on Russia. It is THIS that lets me know their rhetoric is 30 day old rancid Bull Stank. It also shows how screwed up in the head they are by demanding that President Obama launch a military invasion into Russia/Crimea when they’re the ones with the power to do it and are refusing to do it or even think about it.

The lazy bums are shirking their constitutional duties and responsibilities and covering up their failure to act and their cowardice by pretending the decision is entirely left up to this president.

These tools are using Putin’s invasion of the Crimea as a political tool. Their main goal is to beat President Obama over the head no matter what he does. If he would intervene militarily in the Crimea/Russia and things blew up in his face, the republicans would still complain, just as they’re complaining now. He can’t win with them, which is why I think he ignores their constant barking and nipping at his heels. Where these critters are concerned, the worst thing in the world to happen to them is to be ignored by anyone.

As my dearly departed parents used to say, “Honey, he’s feeding them out of a long handled spoon and gagging them with it every chance he gets.”
